“Your doll has the same name as her,” he said, pointing at me, and I returned his smile with emotion.
Aurora looked at me, smiled from ear to ear and began to struggle for her father to release her from his embrace.
“Divon!Divon! I wantDivon.”
William set her down on the floor and the little girl ran toward me with outstretched arms. I received her the same way and, once in my arms, I squeezed her tightly against my chest and gave her a loud kiss on her chubby cheek. Then we spun around while we both laughed.
“I missed you, little one.”
“Me too,” she said, giving me a big kiss.
“And I missed Devon very much too,” said William, approaching us. “How about the three of us go out for a walk?” he suggested.
“Yaaay! WithDivon.”
“Of course the three of us are going,” said William, looking at me with a smile, and I nodded. “We’ll take a walk, have some ice cream and then come home for dinner and then to bed.”
“WithDivon,” Aurora said again, squeezing me against her.
“Yes, with Devon. She’s staying with us tonight,” William said very naturally.
“Yaaay!” exclaimed Aurora. “Divonis going to sleep with me,” she stated.
“No, princess; Devon is going to sleep with me because she’s daddy’s girlfriend.”
“No,Divonis going to sleep with me,” she repeated, as if what her father had told her was of no importance to her, and it probably wasn’t since she had no idea about romantic relationships.
“No, my love. Devon and I will stay with you until you fall asleep but then we’ll go to sleep in my bedroom,” he explained, affectionately and stroking her hair.
“Your daddy is right, we can read you any book you want, whichever one you choose,” I said.
She didn't seem very happy about it, but she didn't say anything and pushed to be put down, then went to get the book. We looked at each other and smiled.
“Will I have to compete with my daughter for your company?” he asked, smiling.
“It seems so, and so far, she has been more convincing,” I joked.
“I don't think so. Wait until we're alone and I assure you I'll be much more convincing,” he said, winking at me, smiling slyly and giving me a soft kiss on the lips.
I looked at him in surprise but didn't say anything. William smiled, this time victoriously. At that moment Aurora arrived with the book in her hand.
“This one,” she said, handing it to me.
“Very well, this one it is,” I said, taking it.
“Now let's go for our walk,” William said, taking his daughter in his arms and holding my hand again.
The outing was a lot of fun. We went to an amusement park, and I think Aurora made us go on every ride. William and I walked hand in hand, embraced and constantly showered each other with affection, just as we did with Aurora. Being the three of us together made me hope for a future like this, but I didn't want to get my hopes up too much; I preferred to take things slowly and enjoy this happy present. By the time we were heading back, all three of us were exhausted. We had decided to eat dinner out, so we were returning home later than planned, and the little one had fallen asleep in the car. When we arrived, we took her to bed and together we undressed her and put on her pajamas. As soon as we left her bedroom, William cornered me against the wall, pulling me firmly against his body.
“I love you and I desire you madly, ‘Dulce.’ I've been wanting to be alone with you,” he whispered in my ear, gently biting my earlobe before leaving a trail of kisses along the curve of my jaw down to my neck.
“Would you like to shower together?”
“Mmm. Later,” he said, and I felt his hands move to the zipper of my pants and pull it down.
I pressed myself against him, feeling his hard muscles beneath his shirt, and William lifted me up and carried me into his bedroom. As soon as we got there, he closed the door and removed all my clothes, leaving me completely naked in front of him.
“You're so beautiful and irresistible, my love. So beautiful it hurts to look at you.”
