He didn't push her away.

I stopped walking.My heart dropped.My hands went cold.

She leaned in, said something in his ear.He chuckled.

And just like that, possession seeped inside my soul.

I didn't even think.I started walking, fast.

I reached them in seconds and without hesitation, I slid my hand around Killian's arm and pulled him close, holding onto him possessively.

The woman blinked, stepping back slightly."Uh...Killian?Who's she?"

He turned, his mouth opening to say something but I beat him to it.

"He's mine."

Killian's POV

She kissed me.

Right in front of the woman.

My brain barely had time to process what was happening before Liana grabbed my face and slammed her lips against mine, full of heat and fury, her fingers tangling in my hair like she was trying to tell the entire goddamn hotel that I belonged to her.

"Baby," she whispered breathlessly, licking her bottom lip as she pulled away just enough to smirk at the woman watching us with wide, blinking eyes, "let's go finish what we started inside."

I was stunned.

And amused.

She looked like a complete menace.Her eyes wild.Her smirk wicked.Her fingertips tracing circles on my chest, trailing lower and lower, all while giving the other woman the deadliest death glare I'd ever seen.and then she bit her lip and tilted her head just slightly, doing that seductive little thing that made my body react before my brain could catch up.

The moment we stepped into the room, she didn't wait.She slammed the door behind us and shoved me onto the bed like she'd had enough of pretending.

She climbed on top of me, her eyes blazing.

"You left me waiting on the bed," she said, stepping forward, her fingers already toying with the buttons of my shirt."While you were out here, laughing with another girl like I wasn't inside...needing you."

She bit her lip, eyes darkening as she shoved me back onto the bed.

"You're too handsome," she muttered, crawling up over me, straddling my lap."I need to claim you before someone else tries to."

I wanted to say something, anything, but her hands were already on my chest, pushing my shirt off my shoulders.

Her eyes had darkened into something almost unnatural, the shade deeper, more dangerous.and her teeth...

Her canines were longer.

And the aura that came out of her...

Fuck.

My heart thudded hard in my chest as I stared up at her, barely breathing.Because what I felt coming off her...was strange.It wasn't just a she-wolf heat response.
