Killian grinned and finally pulled back a little, cupping my face gently in his hands."I won, baby.It's done.The people chose me."

My lips parted in shock and my heart swelled so fast it felt like it was about to burst."Oh my God, Killian...that's...that's amazing."

He kissed me again, this time slower, more grounded, like everything we'd been through was finally worth it.

"What about the accident?"I asked softly against his lips."Did you find out who was behind it?"

His face changed a little, his eyes darkening just slightly."It was alpha Dorian.He confessed.Or rather, he was exposed.He's in the cell now.Logan and Steve are taking care of him."

I understood exactly what that meant, and a small chuckle slipped out of me.Killian's torture wasn't ordinary.That man was about to wish he was never born.

The door opened again and this time, my dad stepped in with the pack doctor by his side.

The moment the doctor saw Killian, his face lit up with surprise and admiration."alpha King," he said with a respectful nod."Congratulations on your victory.The news reached us just a few minutes ago.The entire medical wing is celebrating."

Killian gave him a small smile and a nod."Thank you, Doctor."

My dad looked just as proud.He stepped closer, his eyes never leaving Killian."Well, look who the people crowned," he said warmly.

Killian stepped forward and shook his hand."Thank you.For everything."

The doctor then turned to me with a soft smile."You're officially discharged.Your vitals are good and your strength is back which is surprising.You're in perfect condition."

Killian nodded."Thank you for taking care of my wife."

Mom laughed softly."I love how you always say that.'My wife'.Like it's the most sacred title in the world."

"It is to me," Killian said without missing a beat.

Before I could argue or stop him, he bent down and scooped me into his arms like I weighed nothing.

"Killian!You caveman!Put me down!"I squealed, holding onto his neck."People are watching."

"Let them watch.You're mine.I'm taking you home."

"I can walk," I mumbled, hiding my face in his chest.

"Too bad.This is happening."

Dad and Mom followed behind us, both smiling like they were watching a movie.Killian didn't care.He looked so proud, so happy, like carrying me out of there was his personal victory lap.

"Richard," Killian called as we reached the elevator."Handle the rest of the things."

Richard nodded."Consider it done."

Liana's POV

We pulled up to the gala in Killian's black Lamborghini, and even though I tried not to act like I was blown away, I was.The lights, the cameras, the way people were already crowding outside the building waiting to see the new alpha King and his Luna Queen, everything felt so surreal.I was wearing this gorgeous black dress with tiny silver shimmers that sparkled every time I moved, and Ryan, who sat between us in the back, was in a tuxedo that matched Killian's perfectly.They both looked so handsome that I couldn't stop smiling.

My dad and stepmom sat beside Ryan, helping him straighten his little bowtie.It was as if we were walking into our new life, together, as a family.and God, the nerves in my stomach refused to settle down.
