Concentrate, Bridget. Cookies. Baking. Don't burn yourself because you're too distracted by the sexy noises your mates are making.
Now if my traitorous vagina would get the memo, it would be greatly appreciated.

After dinner, we relaxed in the living room with Alena and her crew. I rubbed a hand over my stomach, wincing as I tried to get comfortable. Had I eaten too much? It was almost impossible not to when it came to Lucas' food.
"Are you okay?" Noah asked, seeing the grimace currently plastered over my face.
"Yeah." I forced a smile onto my face—one that Noah didn't believe was genuine based on the look in his eyes. He scooted me closer to him and lifted me onto his lap. I snuggled against his chest as he rubbed a hand up and down my back.
Alena and the guys left a short while later, and I went upstairs while the guys finished cleaning up. They'd told me to go take a shower or a bath and be ready for them naked and lying in bed.
Something in the back of my mind bothered me as the day went on, but I couldn't quite place what it was. My stomach still bothered me as I opened the bedroom door and gazed at the bed.
Hmm. There weren't nearly enough blankets or pillows in here.
Without pausing to analyze what my feelings were caused by, I crossed the hall into the room they'd set up for me. A smile danced over my lips as I took in the warm and inviting room. I gazed longingly at my nest until I snapped myself out of it and grabbed a couple of the soft blankets folded across the bottom of the bed.
Yes, these would be perfect.
I brought the soft fabric up to my face and rubbed my cheek along it. So soft. So perfect.
Satisfied with my selections, I carried them back in the room and laid them on the bed, arranging them just so.
Once they were right, I hopped on the bed and snuggled beneath them. I grabbed Noah’s pillow, inhaling his scent and letting it soothe me.
I must have dozed off because their voices roused me.
“Is she under the pile of blankets?” Lucas asked. Footsteps echoed in the room, but I was too tired to open my eyes or fully wake up.
“She wasn’t feeling good earlier,” Noah answered.
Someone crawled into bed beside me, but not under all the blankets. The unique scent of James filtered through my senses, and I snuggled closer to him.
“You okay, baby?” He asked as he finally found me beneath the blankets.
I paused before I answered, taking stock of my body and how I actually felt before opening my mouth. “Tired. Achy.”
“Did you take a bath?” His lips pressed into my forehead as his chest rumbled with a loud vibrating purr. I splayed my hand out over his pectorals, savoring the feel.
It was one of the greatest sounds and sensations I’d ever experienced. The sound soothed me and pulled me further down into the realm of sleep. Everything about James made me feel safe. His scent. His taste. His warmth. Everything.
It was like he was my catnip, and I was a happy kitty getting high off the treat.
A cramp spasmed in my belly but then was gone just as quickly. What was that?
"Bridget? Did you hear me, baby?" James asked again, jolting me back to awareness and away from the strange sensation that came and went before I could figure it out.
"Yeah, sorry." I nuzzled my nose against his neck. "I didn't. I just came to bed after I grabbed the extra pillows and blankets."
Someone shuffled on the other side of me, and another hand splayed out over my hip. "If you were cold, you could have just asked one of us to snuggle with you," Lucas said, humor filtering through his words. "I would have much rather been up here with you than cleaning up the kitchen."
I wasn't sure what possessed me to bring the fluffy blankets in with me. "I guess I just wanted the comfort of the blankies." I grabbed the edge of the soft material and rubbed it over my face.
"Hmm," Noah hummed. "I think you may be nesting. The way you're rubbing against Lucas and James. The blankets and pillows. Are you sure you aren't going into heat?"
I stopped and let go of the blanket and thought about his question. "I don't feel like I am. No cramps or overwhelming horniness." It didn't feel at all like the last two times when I'd taken a shot to keep the heat at bay.
