Story: Inmate 0976371

HOLY SHIT! I take his hand smiling nervous than a son of a bitch, heart knocking in my chest and stomach doing back flips. Well, this isn’t the ending I imagined, but…

“I’m ready,” I bite my lip, shrugging. It is what it is. I discreetly clutch my aching stomach, feeling nauseous. I don’t like heights that much, but if Saw wants to drive over a cliff, then I’m going with him.

I can’t imagine what life would be like without him. He’s my Owner, my everything… my smile. I don’t want to be without him.

My heart thumps in my chest as I give him my unwavering support. I don’t care if I die here. For some reason, I do hold a tinge of regret, but I know if I live without him, I’ll be as good as a walking zombie… I need Saw.

“Inmate 0976371,” I hear over a megaphone outside, making me jump. “We have you surrounded. Release the woman and come out with your hands on top of your head.” I turn to see they really do have us surrounded and have guns pointed at us. Damn… this some real Bonnie and Clyde shit… or even Joker and Harley Quinn type stuff… only this isn’t a cartoon and once we go over this cliff there is no silly tricks to keep us alive until the next episode.

Next to me Saw begins to hyperventilate and it’s the first time I’ve seen Saw show vulnerability. I open my mouth to tell him everything is going to be okay but before I can he reaches over and unlocks my door while unbuckling my seatbelt. He pushes my door open, and to my horror, he shoves me out of the car.

“SAW!” I reach and try to grab for him, wanting to beg him not to leave me, but I can’t get the sentence out because my heart sinks in my chest, and I scream when I see him speed up and drive toward the cliff. “DADDY, DON’T LEAVE! ME!” I run after the car, but I’m tackled to the ground when… Horror… and pain unlike anything I thought I could experience in my life cause me to freeze over. The car goes over the ledge and I lay frozen. Suddenly, there’s a loud screaming in my ear, and it’s only when I feel my vision go black that I realize the screaming was me.
