“Thanks. So do you,” I say, noticing her silky black jumpsuit, that looks as if it cost more than my dress.

She smiles. “Want a drink? The barman has a crush on me and I get free drinks here.” She flicks her hair over her shoulder.

“Sure,” I say, following her through the clammy bodies to the bar.

“What would you like?” she asks.

“Whatever you’re having.”

She catches the barman’s eye immediately. He comes sauntering over, and Francesca orders us two Cosmopolitans.

“Are you going to have to sleep with him for these?” I ask.

“I’ll probably just let him sniff my gland later tonight. He has a thing for my scent.” I wonder why she’s bothering. She can clearly pay for all the drinks she likes. “He’s hot though, right?” she says, her eyes slipping down his form.

“I wouldn’t have thought he was your type,” I say, observing the alpha’s stubbled chin and sleeve tattoos. He doesn’t look clean-cut enough for someone like Francesca.

“Oh, he’s not for anything serious, but maybe for a bit of fun.” Her made-up eyes land back on me. “And you?”

“Me?”

“Word has it you’ve been inseparable fromThe Crew. I’m surprised to see you here without them. I thought they were notorious for keeping their omega on a short leash.”

I frown. “What?”

Her gaze flicks across the bar. “Or perhaps I was wrong.”

I follow the trajectory of her vision and jolt when I spot Zane and Duncan on the other side, chatting with a couple of girls. How did I not smell them in here?

I watch them, Zane doing most of the talking, as usual, while Duncan listens along. The two girls are melting under their spell, their cheeks flushed, their bodies liquid.

And it hits me. Hits me so hard, I’m surprised I stay standing. A jealousy that floods through me, washing away all reason.

I scowl across at my alphas, and then I’m marching around to where they stand, ignoring the puzzled enquiries of Francesca.

“Zane!” I growl with my arms tight across my chest.

His eyes spring immediately to me. His face flickers from shock to amusement.

“Omega,” he says, pushing past the girls like he hadn’t been holding them entranced mere moments ago, Duncan close at his side. His arm slides around my waist and Duncan’s hand cups my neck.

“Fuck, you look hot,” Duncan says in my ear.

“Uh huh,” Zane agrees, his eyes darkening as they drink in my form. “I told you, that dress …”

I toss my head, trying to shake off the strong sensation of desire their combined admiration stirs inside me.

“Who are those girls?” I demand, trying to peer around them.

“What girls?” Zane whispers into my ear, his hand gliding down to squeeze my arse.

“The ones you two were just drooling over.”

Zane chuckles and lifts his head. “Seems our little omega may be a tad jealous.”

Duncan sweeps his thumb over my gland, purring quietly into my ear.

“I’m not jealous,” I say, trying my best not to let my eyes roll in their sockets as Zane’s purr joins Duncan’s. “You didn’t answer my question,” I protest, fighting hard to keep my body taut and not molten. “In fact, we need to talk.” I twist my head, meeting Zane’s gaze and making it as clear as I can that I’m serious.
