“I know.”

“Are you scared?”

Am I? I’m not sure. It’s hard to remember now why I was so reluctant to meet Zane’s pack, what kept me away. Yes, it was fear, but also shame and uncertainty. Perhaps I always knew deep inside I wanted to be owned by more than one man and perhaps that had always sickened and terrified me.

“My mum and my aunts are all omegas. They were all mated, pregnant and married by my age. I’ve never wanted that. I want to be someone and go somewhere. I don’t want an alpha telling me what to do.”

“Zane would never do that. And neither would I. We know what it’s like to live differently, the battles you have to fight with the people you love to make them see it’s right.”

“You mean your parents?”

“Aye, my parents would like me settled down with an omega. None of our parents were happy we formed a pack. Apart from Seb’s mum. She thinks the sun shines out of his arse. But, anyway, now we’re in with a shot at the Olympics, they’re all coming around to the idea.”

He asks me more questions about my family as we wait for his knot to deflate and I tell him about my sisters, about how I’ve always wanted to show them that an omega can be more than her body and her desires.

“I told you, we like smart girls,” Duncan says, lifting me from his lap as his knot retreats. “We all work hard in this pack and we expect our omega to as well.”

I don’t know what he means by that, but I follow him out of the bathroom and back into Zane’s room. Zane is sitting up in bed, scrolling through his phone, one hand tucked behind his head.

He grins when we enter the room hand in hand.

“Did you fuck?” he asks us. Duncan nods and Zane’s green eyes find mine. “Come here, sugar.” His tone is light, but there’s authority there too and I drop Duncan’s hand and climb into the bed. Zane drags me onto his lap and stares into my eyes. “Was it good?”

“Yes,” I whisper, my heart pounding in my ears and Zane’s scent strong in my throat.

“Did you come?”

“Of course, she came,” Duncan growls, flopping down on the bed.

“See,” Zane tells me, “there’s nothing wrong with you.”

“I know,” I whisper. Not believing him. I haven’t told him everything. I haven’t told him the whole truth.

“You are perfect.” His hands stroke up my back and over my gland and Duncan reaches down to kiss my shoulder.

“Do you mind?” I ask Zane. “That I slept with him … we didn’t talk it through.”

“Do you want him?”

I nod.

“Do you still want me?”

I nod my head with vigour. “Zane, I want you both.”

A smile spreads across his face and his eyes soften. “When you said it last night, I didn’t know if it was just in the heat of the moment.”

“No, I meant it,” I say, swallowing hard. I turn to look at Duncan.

“We’ve done this before, Rosie,” the other alpha says. “Been in a relationship with one girl. It’s not new to us. We like sharing. We like to see others pleasuring our girl. But I know this is new to you and if it isn’t what you want–”

“It is … it is what I want.” I think of last night, of both alphas having their wicked way with me, and my whole body burns with fire. I want them both. I want to be loved by them both.

“She’s getting wet again,” Duncan chuckles.

Zane bops me on the nose. “Fucking greedy little thing.” I feel him stiffen beneath me. “My turn next.”

“Don’t you have training?” I ask him, grinding against him as Duncan nuzzles my neck.
