“I’m not that bad.”
“You’re the noisiest woman I’ve been with.”
How many women has he been with? It’s not a question I want to ask.
I brush my fingers through his hair like I’ve been wanting to do all evening as he continues to kiss my neck. It feels like silk.
I moan some more and his chuckle vibrates against my throat.
He hooks his hands under my backside and lifts me up, his knot still locked inside me. “I’m taking you back to my room.”
“And Zane and Duncan?”
“It’s my turn now, little mouse. Besides, I haven’t tasted you properly yet.”
“Ok,” I say, wrapping my legs around his waist and letting him carry me through the house and up the stairs.
His room sits at the front of the building with two large windows that look down onto the street. He flips the blinds and drops us down on the king-sized bed. Immediately, he’s back to sucking on my neck as I look around the room. A huge bookcase dominates one wall. Books are stuffed onto the shelves and several more are scattered across a desk. The other walls are bare and in the corner are several weights.
His hand comes up to curl around my throat and I notice for the first time the gold signet ring on his little finger. I take his hand in mine and examine the ring, skating my fingertips over the engraved design. He watches me.
“What does it mean?” I ask him.
“It’s my family coat of arms.”
My mouth drops open. “Coat of arms?”
He grins. “Zane said you were clueless.”
I frown. “What does that mean?”
He shifts us up the bed. “My family are the Reese-Hamiltons. Have you heard of them?”
I shake my head.
“That’s what I mean. Most people have.” He spins the ring around his finger. “Most people have heard about the Amirs too and the Bruces. We get a lot of omegas sniffing around because they’re interested in our families, not us.”
“Actually, I got warned off you by the girls from the OmegaSoc.”
“What did they say?”
“That you’re into dubious shit.”
Ollie throws back his head and laughs. “They’re pissed because we won’t go to their shitty social events. We used to, but the number of gold diggers got old pretty quick.”
“So what does your family do?”
“My family doesn’t do anything. We own land and titles.” He looks at me, clearly judging whether to tell me more. “My grandfather is second cousin to the queen.”
“What? Is he a Lord or something?”
“A Duke.”
I eye him. “And what does that make you?”
He smiles sheepishly. “An earl.”
I gape at him. “An earl?”
