Page 42 of Grumpy Billionaire Seeking Wife (Billionaires Seeking Wives Club #1)
"Hi," they say, ignoring me. In any other circumstance, these women would be all over me, but Tyler Kane's the number one hockey player in the country, and as such, he warrants all the attention, which I'm not jealous about.
"You want to dance?" Blonde number one says.
"I love to dance," blonde number two says. "Do you want to dance, Tyler?"
"Not right now, I'm afraid."
"Sorry, we're busy, girls. But maybe he'll catch up with you later."
I guide him away from them, and he chuckles. "Yo, way to cock block."
"Did you really want them?"
"Not right now. They were okay, but"—he shrugs—"Coach thinks I should take a break from hooking up right now so I can concentrate on the game, but whatever." He grins. "Let's just have some fun tonight. You want me to go first?"
"Yeah, that sounds like a plan. I don't want them to think I orchestrated it or anything." I burst out laughing, and he shakes his head.
I watch as he walks over to the two girls, and as he gets closer to them, I suddenly realize that I didn't tell him which one was Sabrina and which one was Erica. As if in slow motion, I see him walking up to Erica, tripping, or pretend tripping and spilling his drink all over her.
"Oh my gosh, watch what you're doing," she shouts loudly, and I try not to laugh. I hurry over and see both women turning to me.
"What are you doing here, Wes?" Erica glares at me, and Sabrina just rolls her eyes. "Oh, my gosh, I'm wet. You've got your beer all over me, jackass." Erica points at Tyler.
"Yo, are you Tyler Kane?" one of the guys says, looking at Tyler and me.
"I am."
"You owe me a new dress," Erica says.
"I'm sorry. You should have watched where you were going. You were dancing and bopping around, and you got in my way," he says. He looks back at me and winks. I shake my head slightly. He frowns.
"Tyler, that's my sister, Erica."
Your..." He pauses. "Oh." He makes a face and mouths sorry , then looks over at Sabrina. "And you are?"
"I'm Sabrina, her best friend."
"That's Sabrina, my sister's best friend," I say.
"Oh." He looks them up and down, then looks over at me. "They're both hot." He presses his lips together. "I'm sorry. Can I buy you drinks?"
"No, thank you. Sabrina, will you come with me? I need to dry myself off." Erica grabs Sabrina, and they head to the side of the room.
We stand there, waiting with the two guys. "I'm really more of a basketball guy, but I catch hockey sometimes," the guy says to Tyler. "My name's Thunder."
"Nice to meet you, Thunder."
"Hey, I'm Joa," the other guy says. He's tall and skinny, with light blond hair and blue eyes. He looks like the intelligent sort, the sort I could see with Sabrina. I immediately dislike him. "And you guys are?"
"I am Wes, Erica's brother. I'm sure she's told you about me."
"No, she hasn't," Thunder says. "And obviously, you're Tyler Kane. Cool."
"Yeah, thanks. You guys on a date?"
"Yeah, Erica and I have been chatting," Thunder says, shrugging. "She's cool. She just graduated from a school, or is about to, and I am in my career already, but it is what it is. She's banging."
"That's my sister." I stare at him.
"Oh, yeah. Sorry, sorry. No disrespect. It's not like I've banged her or anything. Not that I wouldn't because she's hot, but I guess I should stop."
"You should."
"Well, the other one's not your sister, right?" Joa says, looking at me.
"No, she's not."
"She's hot. Really hot. She hasn't really said much, but shit, I think she's into me."
"You do?" I ask him, narrowing my eyes. "Why is that?"
"Well, look at the dress she's wearing. Fucking bombshell. I'm seeing someone, not like a girlfriend, a situationship thing, but I'll totally fuck the living daylights out of Sabella tonight, and then..."
"Who's Sabella?" I say, looking at him.
"Sabella, Sabrina, same difference, right? They all sound the same when you're on top of them, pumping in and out." He gyrates his hips and high-fives Thunder.
I look over at Tyler, who just shakes his head. "Is that really how you talk about women?" I say.
"I would never say that to her face," Joa says, laughing. "I'm a gentleman, after all."
"Yeah, and I totally would never say that about Erica at all," Thunder says, looking at me. "She's really cool. I actually wrote her a poem. I'm not sure if she read it to you, but I'm thinking about submitting it to the New Yorker ."
"Okay," I say, just staring at him. I watch as the two girls walk back. Erica is grimacing at Tyler, and Sabrina is glaring at me. "Hey," I say. "Everything okay?"
"What are you doing here?" Sabrina says, glaring at me.
" My buddy and I wanted to come out, and it just so happened to be the same place where you were."
"Well, I think that you're ridiculous."
"I think that you're ridiculous," I say to her. I grab her by the wrist and pull her to the side. "That guy's a pig, okay? I hope you're not even considering doing anything with him."
"Excuse me." She flutters her eyelashes at me. "It's not your business who I?—"
"He's dating someone else," I say.
"Excuse me?"
"I said he's seeing someone, so if you do something, you'll actually be helping him cheat on his woman."
"How do you know?"
"He was literally just telling us."
She looks over at Joa. "No. He wouldn't. That's so trashy."
"It's very trashy. And if he's trashy, I'm assuming his friend is also trashy, and I don't want anyone trashy dating my sister. And I would hope you would not want anyone trashy dating her either."
"What am I supposed to do? They've had this connection." She lowers her voice.
"Well, we need to think of something."
Tyler looks at me. "I'm going to go and get another drink. I'll catch you in a little bit."
"Okay." I nod.
"I'm sorry about your dress," he says to Erica. "You'll have to let me make it up to you sometime."
"No, thank you." She glares at him.
"Would you like to dance?" Thunder asks her, and she nods.
I watch as they go onto the dance floor, and then it's just me, Sabrina, and Joa standing there. "Would you like to dance, Sabrina?" he says.
“Yes, thank you. I would love that.”
“You were literally just calling her Sabella five seconds ago," I say to him, but he ignores me.
He grabs her hand, and they head to the dance floor.
I stand there, annoyed. They’re dancing to some sort of hip-hop music, and I’m not appreciating the way that he’s moving and grinding up behind her.
Sabrina seems to be having the time of her life, shaking her hair back and forth, her boobs bouncing up and down.
I watch as she bends forward slightly and backs her ass up onto him.
And that is enough for me to call it a night.
I head over to them and grab her by the arm. "Hey, what are you doing?" she says, glaring at me.
"I think it's my turn for a dance," I say. I pull her into my arms and spin her around.
"I was just dancing with him. You can't."
"I can," I say. I hold her close to me, and she continues to push against me, but then she relaxes.
"You're a jerk," she says. "That is so rude."
"Do you want me to be even ruder?" I say, glaring down at her.
"I don't even know what that means."
"You were literally just grinding up on a dude that you don't know."
"And what about it?"
"You don't grind up on anyone other than me," I say as I spin her around.
I can see that Joa is still standing there, and I smile at him.
I wrap my arm around her waist and push her back into me.
We're still dancing. I move my hands up to her breasts and squeeze.
Joa's eyes widen. I wink at him as I slip my right hand into her left breast and play with her nipple.
She moans suddenly, and I chuckle in her ear. "Can't resist, can you?"
"You can't do that," she says, pushing me away slightly. It's then that she notices that Joa is standing there. "Oh my gosh, did he see? How could you do that?" She turns around and glares at me. "That's not cool, Wes."
"It's not?" I say as I pull her into me again.
This time, I push her back against the wall and kiss the side of her neck.
I run my fingers down the side of her body to her ass and squeeze.
She's moaning as she writhes against me.
The music becomes slightly slower, and my lips move towards her. "You know you don't want him."
"You don't know any such thing," she says. "He..."
"He what? You want to go back over to him and start grinding your ass on him?" I glare at her. "Do you want me to kill him?"
She blinks at me. "You are absolutely ridiculous and archaic and..."
"And what?" I say. "Don't forget the deal that we have."
She blinks at me. "You're crazy. That doesn't mean..."
"It does mean. You're not to mess around with anyone else while you're pretending to be my girlfriend and soon-to-be- fiancée.
Do you hear me?" I press my lips against hers and kiss her, my tongue entering her mouth.
She kisses me back passionately, and I feel her hands running down my back.
She's moaning and whimpering slightly as I pull back.
"Come on," I say. I grab her hand and pull her down a small hallway.
"What are you doing?" she says.
I grin as I lift her up and press her back against the wall. "Wrap your legs around my waist," I say.
"Wes, what?"
"Shh," I say. I slip my fingers between her legs and gently move her panties to the side so that I can rub her clit. I unzip myself, my cock already hard. I adjust her down and then thrust up into her.
She cries out. "This doesn't mean anything, Wes," she moans. "When we're done, I'm going to go and dance with him." I thrust faster and faster until she can no longer speak. She's screaming and moaning then, and I love it.
"What the..." I still as I turn to look down the hallway. Her eyes fly open and we both see Joa standing there. He walks up to us, his jaw wide open. "What the fuck is going on?"
"I can explain," she says in a whimpering voice. "I'm sorry. It's complicated."
"I don't care, bitch," he says. "I don't think I'm going to call you. I don't think I want any of that." He stares at me, and then he stares at her. "I don't know what the fuck you guys got going on, but I'm not interested."
He turns around and walks away, and I start laughing. "I do think that guy thinks we wanted to have a threesome with him."
"What? No way," she says, shaking her head.
"I think so. He's crazy. As if I would ever share you."
"As if I would ever share you," she says.
