"I guess so." She nods, her eyes lighting up as we head into the building. "I am hungry. I need energy before I take all this stuff back on the train."

"Can't you take a taxi?" I frown. I don't like the thought of her taking the train by herself late at night.

"I do not have money for a taxi." She bursts out laughing. "And before you offer, nope, I do not want you to pay for one."

"You're too stubborn." I grimace as we enter the elevator.

I press the button and stare at her pink top.

It's far too sexy for a piece of day wear, but I know to keep my comment to myself.

"You look nice." My eyes drift down to her exposed belly button and back to her eyes.

She has a self-satisfied look on her face. "What do you want on your pizza?"

"Pepperoni, ham, red onions." She pauses. "And some cheese sticks, please."

"Of course." I laugh and freeze as she moves closer to me. "Anything else?"

"Nope," she murmurs as she shifts her backpack. "Maybe a glass of wine. It is Saturday night."

"Yes, it is," I say as we exit the elevator. "So, Sabrina, I just wanted to say that?—"

"If this is about last year"—she holds her hand up—"let's just forget it. I don't want to keep hashing out the time I tried to seduce you and failed."

"I just want to say that it wasn't because I didn't find you attractive. It was because you’re Erica's best friend and deserve your first time to be with someone who will love you and treat you like a queen. Someone who sees you as a potential wife."

"Umm, okay." She looks annoyed. "Good to know."

"I mean, someone who is ready for the next step in life. You know, someone looking to take you on sudden trips to Paris and wants to make you a wifey." I'm not sure where the words come from, and I frown.

"A wifey? Okay, whatever, Wes."

"I mean, I just?—"

"I'm not talking about this with you anymore." She walks into my apartment and heads directly to the living room. I watch as she places her backpack next to the couch and then heads over to the window. "It's so cool being up here. Your view is amazing."

"It really is." Though my eyes are on her ass, and I'm wishing I were her jeans right now. I grab my phone and place the order for the pizza. "So, how did the paper go?" I casually walk over to the window and stand next to her. "Are you excited to be graduating soon?"

"Yes!" She nods eagerly. "I'm ready to be done with school. Ready for the real world." She steps back and looks around the living room. "Your couch is so spacious. In fact, this living room is bigger than my mom's apartment."

"How is your mom, by the way? I haven't seen her in a few years." I motion for her to take a seat. "Do you want a drink?"

"Water for now. Thanks." She nods and takes a seat. "Where are the bags, by the way? I want to put them by the door so I don't forget them when I leave."

"I won't let you forget." I laugh as I head into the kitchen and grab two bottles of water.

"You can change the channel if you want.

I was just watching FBI today as a way to destress before my big week.

" I take a seat next to her and hand her the water.

She flicks the channels on the TV and lands on an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond .

"I love this show." She looks over at me. "My mom and I used to watch it every night, and we would laugh so hard.” Her eyes crinkle in remembrance. As to your question, my mom is okay. She’s still working as a can.

It's an honest job, but it's hard work, and it doesn't pay much.

I'm hoping at some point, I can earn enough to take care of her. "

"You know, there's always a position for her at Carrington Enterprises." I frown. "Tell her to call me. I can get her into HR and?—"

"No, she would never take a job with your family. She knows how much I value my friendship with Erica, and we never want any one of you Carringtons to think that our friendship is based on the incredible wealth you have." She opens the bottle of water and takes a couple of gulps. "But thank you."

"You're welcome." I withhold a sigh. I'm annoyed.

I can so easily make her mom richer and happier without it affecting my family in any way, but I know they are proud.

Neither of my parents nor my grandparents would ever think Sabrina was using us.

In fact, my parents had wanted to cover her college tuition and pay for her room and board, but Sabrina's mom had turned them down.

Which aggravated me to no end. I knew, from Erica, that Sabrina had been working far too many hours while going to school. But I respected the heck out of her.

"Don't huff and puff, Wes. It's not polite or attractive.

" She giggles and swats me on the shoulder.

I grab her hand and reach over to tickle her.

She laughs uncontrollably and pushes me back.

"Wes, stop it." She lifts her knee up and juts it into my stomach.

I push her back onto the couch and hold her hands above her head.

"Be a good girl, Sabrina, and humor me."

"I'm not a good girl, so I can't be one, and I don't want to humor you."

"You're obstinate." My hands tighten around her wrists, and she yanks back suddenly to get away from me. I hold on, enjoying the way she's wiggling back and forth. "Sabrina, be a good girl."

"What do you want me to say?" She shifts toward me, her lips parted. "Do you want me to say yes, sir ? I'll be your good girl, sir ?" Her voice drops, and it's husky, sexy even. What is she doing? "Is this my sexy diva origin story?"

"What?" I blink and drop her arms. She grins, pushes me back, and shifts over so that she's sitting on the edge of my legs. I lean back slightly, and she places her hands on the side of my body. "Are you trying to tell me something, Sabrina?"

"What would I be trying to tell you?" She leans forward, her hair hanging down her back and falling into her face.

Her lips pucker, and she shifts forward.

She's now sitting firmly on my lap. "I thought I was being a good girl, sitting on Daddy's lap," she purrs and shifts forward.

My cock twitches in my loose gray sweats, and she pauses. I know she feels the movement.

"Don't move." I grunt out. "Don't be a tease, Sabrina."

"I'm not a tease." She grips the side of my waist, and I reach up to grab her hips. Her eyes widen as I bring her up and then lower her again. My cock is now planted firmly between her legs, and she squirms. "Wes, what are you doing?"

"Do you ever think about last year?" I ask her softly.

"Nope." She shakes her head. "Not at all."

"I have a question for you." I lift my head so I can stare into her eyes.

"And that is?"

"Where did the negligee come from? Did you bring it with you?" I grin. "Was that a planned seduction?"

"Maybe." She shrugs and nods slowly. "What does it matter now? But yes, it was. I mean, I wouldn't call it a seduction exactly."

"I see, and I would." I lick my lips. "You came into my bedroom with the intent of us hooking up."

"I did. Am I the only woman who's made a play for you, Wes? You can't seem to stop talking about it."

"Not quite." I lean back so my head rests against the arm of the couch. "So, are you going to stay there, or are you going to do something?" I ask her, hoping beyond hope that she feels the same palpable sexual tension that I do.

"Do something?" She looks at me innocently. "Like what?" She presses her hands against my chest and bites down on her lower lip. "I wouldn't know what to do. What with me being a silly girl that can't even dress properly for first dates."

"I didn't say that." I pull her down towards me. "At all." She's breathing heavily now as she lies on top of me. "You know that."

"Is that why you invited me here? You wanted me on top of you?"

"Is that why you came over late at night?" I turn the question back on her. "To finish what we nearly started?"

"I came because you needed me to get our stuff." She blinks at me. "I don't care about anything else. I don't want you. Trust me."

"I don't believe you at all." I run my fingers down the side of her face. "I think you're lying."

"What? Nope. Not at all."

"Then let's test it and see."

"Test what?" She frowns. "What are you talking about?"

"You wanting me."

"I already told you I don't want you." She presses her finger against my lips. "I know that it's hard for you to believe, what with being a handsome billionaire and all, but I'm one of many women who don't want you."

"I don't believe you."

"Well, it's true." She shrugs. "I don't know how to prove it to you."

"I know a way." I grin wickedly, and she frowns as she shifts on me.

"And that way is?" She cocks her head to the side, and I can see her brain running through every scenario. "Tell me."

"Take off your jeans."

"What? No way. Are you crazy?"

"I'm not crazy." I laugh. "But this is a way for me to test if you want me or not."

"If I take my jeans off or not?"

"No, that's just step one."

"I'm not taking all my clothes off, Wes. You're crazy."

"I'm not asking you to do that. Just the jeans. And the top, if you want."

"I don't want." She shakes her head. "My body feels nothing for you, Wes. I'm sorry, but those days are over."

"Then prove it to me. I think you want me. And I think that's why you came over tonight. But if you're scared to show me what you really want, there’s no need to lie. You know, I'm going to figure out the truth." I chuckle. "Then I understand. Maybe you're still embarrassed."

"You wish." She scowls and jumps up off the couch, and I watch as she undoes the top button of her jeans and pulls them down.

I swallow hard when I see she's wearing a sexy black thong, the thin strip of material not doing much to hide her neatly trimmed bush.

She steps out of the jeans and throws them on the couch and into my arms. "There.

Do whatever you want to with them. I do not care. "
