“I know you’re going to be amazing.” He leans in and kisses me softly. “So, I have a bit of an announcement too.”

“Yeah?” I tilt my head curiously. “What have you been up to?”

“Jesse asked me to buy into the practice and become a full partner.” I smile.

“No way! Really?” I wrap my arms around him and squeeze tightly. “Congratulations!”

“My extended visa has been approved, so I thought maybe we should think about buying our own place in the bay. I mean, we pretty much live together whenever you’re not off filming,” he says nervously.

“I’d love that.” I cradle his face and kiss him deeply.

He pulls back and grins. “Besides, we need a spare room for Skylar.”

I huff out a laugh because he’s right. Whenever Sky is on break from filming, she now also heads straight to the bay to stay with me and Wyatt. Strangely, the three of us just fit together perfectly. Wyatt and Sky are the two most important people in my life, and when we’re all together, they alternate between winding each other up like brother and sister or weirdly bickering like an old married couple. It’s plain to see they adore each other, and I’m glad. We’re family.

“What do you say we go check out the dressing rooms in this place like last time.” Wyatt winks.

“Sounds perfect,” I laugh, and it is, just like my life… pretty damn perfect.
