“Nate?”
Turning his head to face me, I could tell he was confused and just trying to do what he thought was right. The problem was there was no right thing right now. The only thing I could think of right now is his hands on me.
“Yeah?”
Taking a deep breath, I exhaled it before speaking.
“I want you to fuck me.”
His eyes grew wide. I was sure it was the words he wanted to hear but the unsteady tone it escaped my lips with only complicated things.
“Katie, we don’t have to…”
“We don’t have to, but I want to. You are here. I know you are. I can see you and hear you. But Nate, I’m still waiting for the bottom to fall out. I need to feel you, Nate. My body needs to know you’re really here.”
Getting to his feet, I met him halfway, standing inches from his face. My chest felt tight. No sooner had we been standing in front of one another than I felt his hands grab my ass. Lifting me into his arms, I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling our faces closer. My lips crashed onto his like I needed his air to breathe. The gentle squeeze on my ass just made me hungrier for him. Carrying me back toward the couch, he placed me down, looming over me. It was impossible to ignore the raging hard-on he had right now. Time may have passed, but the memory of how well-endowed he was, never blurred from my mind.
Leaning back on pillows, his arms caged me in place as he climbed on top of me. Turning my head to the side with one finger, his tongue flicked my ear before nibbling slightly. My neck craned to the side at the touch as he sucked gently, drifting down to my collarbone. I couldn’t control my hands as they ran up under his shirt, tracing the lines of his abs. Stopping as I felt an unfamiliar ridge, I tried to not let it distract me. With my eyes were shut tight, I took in every movement of his body over mine. A moan escaped my lips as his hand cupped my breast, gently massaging it over my clothing. The clothing that was keeping me from feeling his skin against mine, restricting the pleasure I knew he would bring me.
We moved slowly, but as he shucked more of his clothing to the floor, my eyes immediately landed on his scars. I tried so hard not to stare.
“Nathan...”
Ceasing to move, it was like he knew what I was thinking. Tears were welling in my eyes. The thought of what he had gone through hit me. I may have been going through my own pain, but his physical reminders would never go away.
“I’m okay Katie. I have you now. It’s okay. Please don’t cry darlin’.”
“I missed you so much, Nathan. And you…”
Sniffling and trying to keep my composure. It was hard with us being half naked on top of everything. The emotions were bubbling to the surface, and I wasn’t sure I could contain them much longer.
“I missed you too, darlin’. I felt like something was missing and I just couldn’t figure out what it was.”
“Do you remember when you told me how it felt when your mom told you about my accident? How did you do it? I felt like I was being dragged under water and my lungs were just filling more and more. Nothing would stop it.”
Pulling me into his arms, he held me. I didn’t mean to relive everything again. I couldn’t help but wonder how he felt, not knowing who he was. While I spent months reliving the repercussions of my actions, he was stuck living a life that wasn’t his.
“I’m so sorry I did that to you, darlin’. I promise, I’m never leaving again.”
