“Mikhail,” I gasp as his chest moves against mine. My breasts feel extra sensitive, only bringing more pleasure through me.

“Baby. God, you are perfect. You are mine.”

“I am.”

“Then come for me. Now.” He rocks his hips harder into mine and it does the trick.

My legs clamp down onto his waist as I arch into him. “Mikhail,” I gasp out as my orgasm hits me. It’s even more intense than the first one he gave me.

My body is still trembling when Mikhail thrusts into me once more before he comes as well.

“You are mine,” he says again, gripping my face.

He smiles. “I guess I am.” After one more kiss, he rolls off me and unties my wrists from the bed. Then he pulls me into his arms. Resting my head on his chest and hearing his heartbeat makes me feel more safe than I’ve ever felt before.

But then I remember how frazzled Mikahil was when he came home.

“What happened?” I ask.

“Cillian betrayed me. He’s been working with Nico this whole time and I didn’t know. He tried to kill me earlier today.”

My heart squeezes from the panic. I can’t imagine losing Mikhail. I’m not sure my heart could take another break after my father’s death. Even though Mikhail can still sometimes scare me, I know I care for him.

And I know I always will.

“What happened? You obviously survived.”

“I ran into the woods. I was in there for hours, walking around until I found my way out. I lost my cell phone at some point. In the chaos of everything. So I couldn’t call for any of my men to come get me. After I made it out of the woods, I walked for a while until I could borrow someone’s phone. Then I called one of my guys to come get me and he brought me home.”

“Oh my god, Mikhail. I was so worried about you. What if you had died? What then?”

“I have money that will protect you. Investments in both of our names. You will never be without money. You can always hire more guards to protect you in case I die. I have a list of men I trust the most in my office. You go to any of them if I die. You will be safe, even if I’m gone.”

I want to believe him and I’m sure in some ways, I would still be safe.

But even if I remain physically safe if he dies, I’m not sure my mind would be safe.

Mikhail has my heart in a tight grip and I don’t know what I would do without his dominance.
