I shudder. I’m not sure that’s what I want at all and yet, I can’t deny that I’m flattered these people want to see me experience all of my firsts.
“I’ll decide when and where I claim my wife for the first time.” Mikhail places my feet to the ground and I can finally close my legs together. It’s a relief and yet, there’s a tiny bit of disappointment fluttering through me.
He picks up my panties but doesn’t place them back on me. Instead, he stuffs the fabric into his pants pocket. “Come along, Natalya.” He holds my hand as we leave the party. I’m even more aware of how short my dress is now that I don’t have any underwear on. It barely touches the end of my backside.
Mikhail’s driver is waiting outside the car for us. He averts his gaze from me as Mikhail helps me into the backseat.
Mikhail pushes a button to close the divider between us and his driver as we start to head back to our home. “How was tonight for you?” He places my legs on his lap, his fingers fiddling with my shoe straps. Goosebumps break out on my skin.
“It was… a lot.”
“I figured. You did well in there. I know all of that was new for you. But you did such a good job. You made me proud.”
I can’t help but blush all over again, despite everything we just did together. “Thank you. And… you made me feel good. Even though everyone was looking, you made me feel like it was just the two of us.”
“I’m glad. I’m glad you enjoyed it.” His fingers glide back up my leg to my thigh. “I can’t wait to play with your pussy for the rest of our lives.”
I shiver. He can so easily say things like that. I’m not sure I’ll ever have the confidence. “Do you want me to talk like that too?”
“What? Say words like pussy and cock?”
“Yes.”
“No. I like that you’re a good girl. I like that you’re innocent. I don’t want to hear those words from you. Let me take you. Corrupt you, even. But I still want you to retain some innocence when all of this is over.”
When all of this is over. I’m not sure I ever want any of this to be over.
Chapter Eight
Natalya
Itry calling Irina again but she doesn’t answer. My heart begins to pound like a battering ram against my chest as I call Sasha and Ana as well. Once again, no answer.
My mom is my last resort. Unsurprisingly, she doesn’t answer.
Uncle Denis must have their phones on lockdown. I messed everything up by trying to save my family. I never should have gone over there in the first place and I definitely should not have shot Denis at all. He’s never going to let me see my family again and I have no idea what’s happening to them.
Mikhail is in his home office when I search for him. The sight of him behind his desk, all powerful and strong, sends a flutter to my stomach. I haven’t been able to stop thinking of whathappened at the party. How he pushed my body. How it felt good to have people watch me in such an intimate and vulnerable position.
But I can’t let that distract me right now. Not when my family could be in danger.
“Mikhail?” I clutch my phone to my chest.
“Yes?” He glances up at me and seeing the stress on my face, sets his pen down and sits back in his seat. “What’s wrong?”
“I can’t contact my family. I keep trying to call and they’re not answering.”
“Denis probably isn’t letting them have their phones.”
“I know that,” I snap. He raises an eyebrow. With an exhale, I try again without the attitude. “I know that. That’s why I need your help. I need to see my family again. You said you’d help me see them.”
“I did. But after what you did to your uncle, he’s not going to let them go anytime soon. I can’t get them, Natalya. I’m sorry.”
Tears prick my eyes and before I can stop them, they start falling down my face. “You promised me.”
“I know, baby. But I can only do so much.”
“Bullshit. You’re a powerful Bratva man. You killed for me like it was as easy as breathing. You can help me contact my family. Just so I know they’re ok.”
