CALLI
The drive home is much calmer than the one here. Mostly because everyone is hungover.
“My pussy needs a holiday from this holiday,” Brianna moans after waking up from the nap she was having on my shoulder as we drive into the city.
“Not surprised,” Jodie mutters. “You were going like, all freaking night. I’m surprised you can walk.”
I roll my eyes at them, but I can’t find it within me to even complain.
While Nico’s been focused on getting inside Brianna, he hasn’t been paying attention to what I’m up to, and I can only see that as a good thing.
“So how was your night with the twins, baby C?” Emmie asks, catching my eyes in the mirror.
“Exactly like I said it was earlier.”
“Ugh,” she complains. “Make it up then.”
“I know that Nico would skin them with his bare hands if they spit-roasted you, but can you imagine how hot that would be?” Stella muses.
“Seb know you fantasise about twins?” Jodie asks teasingly.
“I’m just thinking up hot ways for Cal to lose the V. There can’t be many people out there who can say they gave it to twins.”
“And I’m not going to be one of them. Sorry to disappoint, but there were no group activities in our tipi last night.”
“I think I prefer Emmie’s suggestion. Just pretend. How do you think that would have gone? Who’d have won the battle of the V-card and got in there first?”
“Daemon,” everyone says at the same time before they start laughing.
“Jesus,” I mutter.
“Alex would be livid, though,” Emmie continues. “He’s been dreaming about Cal’s pussy for months.”
“He has not,” I huff.
The teasing continues as we get closer to home, and thankfully, less than ten minutes later, Stella is pulling into my driveway.
“So what’s the plan for the rest of the week then?” she asks, putting the car in park and looking between us all.
“Studying,” I say without missing a beat. “Don’t be surprised if you don’t see me again until school starts.”
“Cal, come on. You can’t lock yourself away for over two weeks,” Emmie complains.
“I’m not failing my exams,” I state.
“You won’t. You’re gonna smash it.”
“I get it,” Jodie says, leaning around Bri, who’s half asleep between us again. “If you need any help, just shout, okay?”
“Thank you,” I breathe, glad that she understands. “I’ll text you later, yeah?” I push the door open and swing my legs out.
“Yeah. Just don’t forget to have some fun, Cal. We’re only young once.”
“I’ll see what I can do,” I promise before grabbing my stuff and heading inside.
Mum and Dad are both here, or at least I assume so, seeing as their cars are, but I don’t see them as I make my way down to the basement.
The familiarity and contentment of home hits me as I dump my bag by the kitchen counter and pull the fridge open to grab a can of lemonade, but I groan when all I find are bottles of water.
