"Where are you going?" He chases after me.

I'm not really sure what I intend to do. It's not like I can waltz right into the locker room and throw my arms around Jasper Greyson, even though I want to do that and prove to Atlas that he's wrong.

"To see my boyfriend."

"This should be good," he says with a wry grin as he follows me around the stadium.

Except, I don't know my way to the locker room or even how to get on the floor. We don't have seats by the glass, and we can't just head down the aisle without someone checking our tickets.

There are two guards standing at the entrance to one of the long hallways. The guard nods at Atlas. Do they know one another?

"The Island Bruisers locker room is behind you," the guard says, taking note of Atlas's VIP badge.

"I was actually looking for the Ice Dragons," I say as I stalk up closer and try to peer down the hallway.

"Amber!" Jasper's voice carries and echoes against the walls. "Let her through."

The security guard steps aside, gesturing for us to enter.

"Just the girl!" Jasper shouts.

"Sorry," I say with a sly smile and a shrug as I saunter back toward Jasper.

"Stop checking out her ass!" Jasper glares at Atlas while I head toward him. There's commotion from behind; the game isn't over.

"What are you doing out here?" I ask, shaking my head, staring up at him.

"I should be asking you that question, and with him!" He yanks open the locker room door and gestures for me to follow. I'm expecting to see open lockers and a bench, but there's a long hallway entrance. Is that where the press waits to accost the players after a game?

On the right, there are dozens of numbers taped above on the wall with hockey sticks neatly lined up for the players. I glance over every detail, from the numbers matching the players' jerseys right down to the colors of the Island Bruisers everywhere and their logo on the floor.

"He's in one of my classes, statistics," I say and grimace.

"And you brought him on a date tomy game?"

"I didn't invite him anywhere. His brother plays for the other team."

"I know that," Jasper says. "But he was sitting withyou."

"Again, I didn't invite him. I think he paid the guy to switch seats or swap tickets with him." I shuffle my feet, slightly uncomfortable under his scrutiny. "Are you jealous?"

"Atlas is a dick."

I can't stand Atlas, but I never told Jasper about the party, and there is no way that he could hear a word that was said from the stands.

"What makes you say that?" I ask.

Do the two of them know each other?

While I agree Atlas is a jerk, I'm not about to air my grievances to Jasper. I get the impression that he might go after him, and the fight wouldn't be on the ice.

"Just past history with him," Jasper mutters and then glares at me. "What were you doing with him downstairs if the two of you weren't at the game together?"

I exhale a heavy sigh. "Long story."

"I've got time."

"Aren't you supposed to be on the ice or with your team?"
