CHAPTER FOUR
JACKSON
J ackson watched the beautiful woman he spent all afternoon studying walk out the front door. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her as she sat in the back working away at the report she had in front of her.
It had been a long time since there was an attractive woman who caught his eye. Clearing his mind, Jackson looked down at the text he just received.
Eli: Hey, handsome. I’ll be headed out in a few minutes. Are you ready to go?
Eli: I’m going to stop and grab a smoothie on the way. I’ll get you one, as well.
Jackson grinned. His cold-hearted husband could be sweet when he wanted to be.
Jackson: Hey, hot stuff! Yeah, I am almost done with closing up the library. I’ll meet you out front in 10 minutes.
Jackson: I’ll take a peach smoothie, please.
Jackson knew that Eli was rolling his eyes at the hot stuff comment. He had made it his mission when they first started dating all those years ago to call Eli the most ridiculous nicknames.
He knew deep down inside that Eli loved it even if he acted like he didn’t. His mind drifted back to the cute brown eyed girl who spent the afternoon sitting in his library.
Jackson knew that she would be the perfect one to turn their twosome into a threesome. Ever since they got together, both of them knew that one day they would add someone else to their relationship.
Not just any person would do, though. They were looking for the Little that would make their house complete.
Eli and him were both Daddy Doms. Jackson loves Eli but he knew that he would never be complete without a Little girl to call his own.
There was no shutting that part of him off and he knew that Eli felt the same. It might have been a little crazy for them to get into a relationship and marry knowing they were both Daddies, but when the one comes you don’t let that pass.
While Jackson was a Daddy, he was also a switch so it worked out no matter what and he knew once they found their Little girl all would be right in the world.
Turning off the lights, he headed out of the front doors just in time to see Eli pulling into the parking lot.
Heading over and crawling into the Aston Martin that his husband loved to drive the most out of all their cars, he leaned over and pressed a quick kiss onto Eli’s lips before buckling up and snagging the smoothie that waited in the cup holder for him.
Jackson let out a moan as the first sip hit his taste buds. Hearing a groan coming from the driver side, he peered over just in time to watch Eli adjust in his seat.
He loved knowing he had such a big effect on his husband and used it to his advantage any time he could. Taking another sip, he let out another moan. It really was a dang good smoothie.
“I know what you are doing and you're playing a dangerous game.”
“I have no clue what you are talking about.”
“Sure you don’t. You know the only time you should be making those sinful sounds is when I’m between your legs.”
Now Jackson was the one shifting in his seat as his pants grew tighter. He needed to change the subject before this spiraled out of control and they ended up in bed before they even had dinner.
The idea had some merit though, but he was trying to be a good boy for once.
“How was your day, babe?” He asked Eli, in a hope to redirect their thoughts.
“It was good. This freshman class is showing some promise. I can see several that show a lot of potential, if we can make sure they stick with the material.”
Eli was head of the Economics Department and taught the freshmen economics class every year. He was a great professor and if he said someone showed potential, Jackson believed him.
“That’s great to hear. I can’t wait to see how it all unfolds.”
Jackson bit his lip, having an internal battle with himself. He didn’t know if he should tell Eli yet about the young girl who caught his eye.
He knew that the hang up that he was going to have to battle with his husband was the fact the girl looked barely legal. Jackson didn’t have a problem with an age gap, especially considering there was one between him and Eli though it's not that big.
“How was the library? Anything interesting happen?”
“It was about the same as the rest of the days there. Lots of bright eyed freshmen filtered their way into the library today. Over half of them won’t step foot back into the building, it happens every year.”
“You’re right, but that’s alright. Just makes the relationship you build with the ones who do return so much better.”
Jackson nodded his head. It was the same every year, but Eli wasn’t wrong. Cutting off his train of thought, he crawled out of the car and headed into the house.
They purchased the home a few years ago when they had decided to finally start looking for someone to add to their relationship. The five bedroom home seemed a little excessive since it would only have three people living in it, but Jackson had fallen in love with the house.
On four acres of land that butted up against a beautiful lake, the five bedroom house had a spacious kitchen that connected to an informal dining room. The master bedroom had an attached bathroom that they had remodeled to have a shower big enough for them both to be in.
Jackson took the initiative to turn one of the extra rooms into an office for Eli, that had bookshelves that lined one of the walls for all the first editions that his husband always bought for birthdays and anniversaries.
They both worked together on setting up the nursery for their future Little. It had to be perfect for the Little girl they would call their own. It was painted sky blue and one wall featured clouds painted in all different shapes.
The bottom of the wall had roses and lilies painted in a beautiful field. There was a light oak daybed in the corner of the room that had the ability to attach the last side rail to turn it into a crib.
On the other wall was a changing table, bookshelf, and the rocking chair that was big enough to hold the men and their Little girl.
It had turned out perfect, but it was missing the touch of a woman.
One that would come in and make the nursery hers.
Destiny was the woman they were waiting for, Jackson just knew it.
Looking down at the plate that Eli sat in front of him, Jackson bit back another groan. He is spoiled and isn’t afraid to admit it. The steak was cooked to perfection just as he liked it, creamy mashed potatoes, and a caesar salad to finish it all off.
If they weren’t already married, he would have gotten down on one knee and proposed right then. Taking a sip of the wine that Jackson had picked out and poured for them, he waited for Eli to sit before digging in.
Swallowing the bite and holding back his moan, Jackson broached the topic that he knew was going to change their life forever.
“I met someone today.”
At Eli’s eyebrow raise he continued on.
“She came into the library today and sat in the back working on a research paper.”
“A student?”
“Yeah. Freshmen, I believe, given the assignment she was working on. Looked like it was from Intro to English.”
“Okay, so what about her?”
“I think she’s the one. The one we have been searching for.”
Jackson watched Eli’s eyes widen, before he choked on his food. Getting up to grab him a glass of water, he waited until Eli was okay before continuing.
“I know that we agreed a long time ago that students were off limits, but I really do think that she is the Little for us.”
“Does this girl have a name?”
“Destiny. She’s stunning Eli. Beautiful long brown hair, with the prettiest chocolate colored eyes. A little shy and didn’t seem to have a lot of confidence in herself, but I know that can be built up.”
“It seems like you spent a lot of time watching her.”
Jackson blushed and looked away sheepishly. He didn’t want to admit that he stared at her for much longer than what was appropriate, but Destiny entranced him.
“How do you even know that she’s a Little?”
“I don’t, but I have a feeling and we both know that my gut doesn’t usually lead me astray.”
Eli grunted at his words. There was no denying the truth behind his words. It wasn’t often that Jackson grabbed onto something that his gut told him to and it didn’t end up working out just like he knew it would.
They fell into comfortable silence again. From the beginning, there was never a need to fill the void among them.
“I’ll think about it, but you know that this could be a very dangerous thing to pursue. There’s so much we could lose.”
“Yeah Eli, but look at all we could gain.”
Finishing their dinner, Jackson cleared the table and headed into the kitchen to load the dishwasher. They always rotated chores and tonight was his turn to clean since Eli cooked. He knew that he would need to give Eli plenty of space to think about what he told him tonight.
That man never did anything rashly. He constantly had to obsess over the decision and weigh the odds no matter what the issue was.
It was one of the things that Jackson loved about him. Kitchen clean, he turned and walked back over to where Eli sat on the couch.
Stepping between Eli’s spread legs he bent down and pressed another kiss against his lips, groaning when Eli slid his hands into his hair, deepening the kiss.
“What did I tell you about making those sounds, Jackson Lee?”
Not able to hold back the moan that escaped as he felt Eli’s hands slip down the front of his chest slowly unbuttoning his shirt as he went.
Eli pushed Jackson away and stood up. Jackson felt him lean in close, his hot breath on his ear.
“You have two minutes to be on our bed and ready for me. Seems like someone needs a lesson on when he gets to make those sexy noises.”
Jackson turned and sprinted his way towards the bedroom feeling a slap on his butt as he went. Eli’s lessons were his favorite and he couldn’t wait to get this one started.
The following day, Jackson was preparing for another long morning in the library when he heard the door open up. Glancing up at the sound of the bell, a grin crossed his face when he noticed it was Destiny.
Walking inside with her head down, he kept a close eye on her as she made her way back to the same cubicle that she was in before. He waited to see what she was going to do before interrupting her process. It was cute to watch the internal battle on her face as she debated her next move.
Jackson watched her walk back to the same section that she needed for the research paper she was working on and start pulling books down. His eyes widened as her pile continued to grow.
Refusing to let her carry that many books back to her table, he started making his way across the library. Clearing his throat so not to startle her with his presence, "Hey, Little lady. I’m excited to see you again."
Jackson watched as she whipped her head in his direction and graced him with a smile.
"Hey! Yeah, I figured it would be a good idea to get a little bit more of the paper done before my class this afternoon," she replied to him pushing hair that had fallen out of her ponytail behind her ears.
"Let me give you a hand."
"Oh, there's no reason to do that, I got it. I wouldn’t want to put you out."
"I wouldn't have offered to help if I didn't want to. Plus, that's kinda my job."
"What is?"
"Helping pretty Little girls carry their books. You wouldn't want me to slack on my job now would you?"
Destiny shook her head at his question before sliding the books into his arms.
"Thank you, pretty girl. Do you have everything you need?" He watched her nod her head again.
"Well, lead the way back to your seat. I'll be right behind you," Jackson followed closely behind her, dropping the books on her table.
"I will be right over there if you need anything else."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome, Little girl."
Jackson made his way back to the front desk returning to his original task. He didn't think he would be able to focus on much knowing that she was in the same building as him, but if he wanted any chance of getting out of here and home to Eli on time this evening, he needed to get his butt in gear.
Jackson kept watch over his Little girl over the next several hours as she continued to work on her project. Every once in a while, she would glance up like she was looking for something or someone. She would make eye contact with him ever so often and blush before quickly glancing away.
His phone buzzed on the desk in front of him.
Eli: Hey babe. How's the library been so far this morning?
Jackson: Not bad. I've had a pretty view all morning long.
Eli: Oh, do tell, what has caught your eye?
Jackson: A certain Little brown haired girl.
Eli: Destiny is there?
Jackson: She is. Been here since the doors opened. Working away on the paper in front of her.
Eli: Mhm, interesting.
Eli: My next class is about to start. Behave pup or there will be consequences.
Jackson rolled his eyes. He always behaved, when he needed to behave.
Jackson: Excuse me Sir, I'm always behaving.
Eli: Sure you are. Gtg…I love you.
Jackson: I love you, too, handsome.
Movement caught his eye. Turning to look, he saw Destiny heading in his direction. "Uh, I'm leaving, but I didn't want to just leave all those books that I was using on the table."
"No worries, sweetheart. I will put them all away. You have a good rest of your day and I hope to see you again soon.
He watched her nod her head at him before turning and walking away. He hated to see her go, but he loved to watch her leave.
The rest of his day was uneventful as more students filtered in and out of the library. The tasks he needed to complete were done. Since Destiny was no longer in the library he was able to focus on them and completed them in a timely manner.
Grabbing his keys and turning off the lights, Jackson made his way out the door with a pep in his step. It was time to go home and tell Eli all about his time watching their babygirl.
