CHAPTER THIRTEEN

JACKSON

J ackson couldn’t wait to have their girls in their home. It was like the final puzzle piece was falling into place and their house was finally going to feel like a complete home. He knew that the question that Destiny asked before they left the diner was going to come up eventually.

How would they explain to them that while they were happy with just the two of them, their relationship didn’t feel like it was complete.

He knew that Eli would be the better person to answer that question.

He was always better at wording things and explaining their feelings. It was the professor in him.

They pulled onto their property and Jackson chuckled at the girl's small gasps from the backseat. He couldn’t lie that their house wasn’t beautiful.

It had taken them years to find the perfect one that fit their needs, but when they did, they didn’t hesitate to snatch it up before someone else could.

It needed a little work and because they were always so busy working at the college, Jackson found a contractor that was able to knock it all out within a week.

It was worth the extra money that they spent and the peace of mind that was given that all the work had been completed correctly and up to code.

The only room that Eli and he had done themselves was the nursery.

Of course, the bones of it were done by the contractor, but then all the painting and designing was something that they wanted to do themselves.

It allowed them free creativity, but it wasn’t complete till recently.

Once the guys knew that there were two Littles for them, there had been some adjustments done to accommodate them both.

The room now held two daybeds, two rocking chairs, a bigger toy chest, and additional book shelves to hold more books for their little girls.

Pulling into the garage, Jackson slid out of the front seat and opened the door behind him to help Destiny out.

Placing a kiss on her head before stepping away and leading her towards the house.

Taking off their shoes in the mud room, Jackson took both girls by the hand and walked to the couch in the living room, settling them on the couch before taking the love chair across from them.

He wanted nothing more than to hold them in his arms. Jackson loved the feeling he felt earlier when he had Des on his lap, but he knew that this conversation was best to be had with some distance. The last thing Jackson wanted was for them to feel uncomfortable during this talk.

Eli slid beside him in the chair, throwing an arm behind him and pulled him close, “So you asked why we chose you.” Jackson watched both girls nod their heads.

“How about I explain that part. Jackson did a lot of talking this morning and it would only be right,” Eli spoke up, allowing him to relax and let his husband take the lead.

“I should first say, we aren’t adding you to our established relationship in hopes to fix something between us.

There isn’t anything broken in our relationship that we are trying to fix and it’s important to us that you understand that. ”

Once they were all on the same page, Jackson motioned for Eli to continue.

“Jackson and I have always known that we were both Daddies. It was something we discovered pretty early on into our relationship and knew that it wasn’t something either of us were willing to give up.

Jackson will sub for me and while I love that, he would never fill the void I have of wanting a Little.

It’s not in his nature and I wouldn’t want him to be something that he isn’t. ”

“And I would never ask Eli to submit to me like that either. Which is how we came to the conclusion that we were going to be a family of three. Then we met you and knew that our family of three was going to be a family of four,” Jackson added on, smiling at the girls.

“You both fill a void in us that we couldn’t fill for each other. We refused to lose the chance of love and happiness we had with each other, so we just patiently searched for the part of our relationship that we knew was out there. And that part was you. Both of you.”

“But how do you know that for certain?” Destiny whispered out.

“A Daddy always knows.” Jackson swiftly replied, hoping to ease the concerns he saw in her eyes.

He didn’t like that she didn’t seem to believe them, but he knew that they would do what it took to ease all their troubles.

Nothing would stand in their way of making the girls feel happy, loved, and cherished.

“Did that help clear up a little bit about why we want this with you?” Eli asked after a moment. “I think it does, but I’m still confused on how it will all work,” Jess replied.

“Every relationship is unique and ours will be no different. You are both Littles and we are both Daddies. We will both hold that position and title over you, if you want it that is. Jackson will still sub for me and that won’t change, but he would be the Daddy over you.”

“You will have rules that we both agree and set along with punishments if you break them,” Jackson added on. “We want to share you in every form of the word, including in the bedroom. Neither of you seem to have a problem when we show affection to the other twin.”

Jessa nodded her head at his statement which only confirmed his beliefs more that they were the Littles for him. “Is there anything else we need to clarify for either of you right now?”

“No Jackson, I don’t think there is. At least I don’t have any further questions right now, but if I have them in the future I can ask right?”

“Of course, Little Wolf. I would never ignore any question that you might have. It’s too important in a relationship to have open communication, especially in one like ours when there are many people involved.”

Jackson looked up at Eli and noted the relief that was shown on his face.

He felt the same and couldn’t wait to continue to move forward with the girls in their life.

Jackson knew that it wasn’t going to be easy, but nothing that was worth it in life was.

The effort and work they would have to put in makes the relationship just a little bit sweeter.

“Uhhhh, I do have a silly question. What do we call you? Are you both named, Daddy? Because if so, that’s going to get confusing real fast,” Jessa giggled out.

“That’s really up to you girls. We would be okay both being Daddy, but if there is a name that you would rather use we are open to suggestions,” Eli answered.

“I actually have the perfect names already in my mind. Want to hear them?” Destiny mentioned.

Jackson motioned for her to continue. He couldn’t wait to see what name his Little Wolf thought was the perfect one for them.

“Well, Jackson, I think your perfect Daddy name is Papa. You just seem to fit the name perfectly.”

Jackson loved that and agreed that he would rather be called Papa over Daddy. Quickly agreeing, he once again motioned for her to continue. He was interested in what name she came up with for Eli. Jackson could guess that it would be just as amazing as his.

“What about me, Little Wolf? Am I destined to be Daddy or do you have something else up your sleeve?” Eli questioned impatiently.

“Pops! It’s because you’re old and that’s what you would call an old man,” The girls fell into a fit of giggles as he and Jackson looked at each other in astonishment. He didn’t peg that Destiny would name Eli Pops and then call him old, but Jackson’s own internal brat loved it.

“OLD?! YOU THINK THAT I AM OLD?” Eli blurted out causing Jackson to fall into a fit of laughter with the twins.

Little did they know, Jackson called Eli old often because they were six years apart in age.

“I’ll have you know brat that I’m not old.

I am finely aged, like your favorite cheese or a good bottle of wine,” Hearing Eli’s response made Jackson double over into another fit of laughter.

“Alright you three, enough laughter at my expense. Pops it is, but not because I’m old. But because I love that it made you laugh like that. It makes my heart happy to see it.”

“So what now?” Destiny asked after the last of her giggles faded. “Now we continue to build our connection and if you and your sister are okay with it, we build our dynamic as Daddies and Littles.” Jackson answered.

He watched both girls nod their head before he was tackled back against the couch. Wrapping his arms around Jessa and Destiny, Jackson looked over their heads at Eli with tears in his eyes.

This was the moment that he had been longing for and now that it is here, Jackson couldn’t contain the excitement and happiness that is bubbling up. Motioning Eli over, he pulled him into their embrace where they all sat for the next few minutes just soaking up the moment.

A little while later, Jackson dropped a kiss against Destiny’s head as he placed her dinner on the table in front of her. After Jessa called her sister to let her know that everything was okay and where they were, they all spent time playing games and getting to know each other more.

Without the stress of the college hanging over their heads, Jackson could tell that the girls felt more at ease just talking and spending time with them.

Even when they would talk at the college, it was evident that the girls would be watching over their shoulders as if someone was going to jump out at them and yell at them for spending time together.

Not that he or Eli would have ever let that happen. The instinct to protect Jessa and Destiny was strong from the beginning and nothing was going to bring harm to them if he had any way of preventing it.

Now they are all sitting down together for a nice meal of chicken nuggets and mac and cheese before Eli took them home. Jackson wanted to go as well, but he had to run over to the college and deal with a shipment that came in. Even though it’s fall break, the college was still open for employees.

He had been waiting for this shipment for weeks now and it just so happened to fall on this evening when the girls were at their house. Jackson wasn’t the type of person who would allow his staff to do something he wouldn’t do himself.

So, that meant he would be heading over to the library to meet up with a few other staff members to unload and sort out the books. It would be a long night of back breaking work, but that wasn’t something that Jackson wasn’t accustomed to.

Sorting the books is the easy part. Jackson dreaded the following days of tagging and shelving all the books more than anything. But he knew of a certain Little who loved being around books. He could maybe convince her to tag along with him and keep him company.

As that thought crossed his mind, Jackson felt a little less upset about not going with Eli tonight.

Knowing that there might be a chance of uninterrupted time just between him and Destiny lifted his spirits.

Jackson knew that he would do anything to have that time with her and he wasn’t above bribery to get what he wanted.

Forty-five minutes later, Jackson stood at the door and waved as his whole world drove away. Turning and grabbing the keys to Eli’s Aston Martin, he slid behind the wheel and pulled out of the driveway towards the college and the long night ahead of him.

Hanging up the keys and kicking off his shoes, Jackson made his way through the quiet house.

It was almost eleven at night and he figured that Eli was already in bed asleep.

Trying to be as quiet as possible, he made his way into the walk-in closet to change clothes before slipping into the bed and snuggling up against his husband.

“Mhm, welcome home, love. How was work?”

“It was okay, just long and tiring. Got about half-way done and will finish up the rest tomorrow. Then the next step will be labeling them and getting it all shelved. I hope to convince Destiny to come and keep me company while I do that, even if I have to bribe her.”

He felt Eli chuckle at his words. “Did the drop-off go okay? I felt horrible that I couldn’t go with to take them home, especially after having the heavy conversation that we did.”

“Yeah babe, everything went fine. I made sure to double check with them before I left that they were okay. I also texted them both before they went to bed for one last check in. Everything is okay.” Jackson nodded his head. He felt better knowing that their girls were okay.

“Anyways, goodnight, Jackson.”

“Goodnight, Pops.” Jackson snickered out as Eli groaned.
