Page 74 of Carver
At the sight, Gideon licked his lips. Carver could tell he wanted to do more, but he wasn't sure how. So instead, Carver spit on his palm and stroked himself with his boy in full view.
Gideon panted as he watched, and the sight of his boy being aroused by his actions had his orgasm barreling forward faster than it should have. Within seconds, he was falling apart, spilling everywhere. Gideon reached out quickly, swiping the mess off Carver's hand and shoving it into his mouth.
It was Carver's jaw dropping this time. He didn't expect that from his boy. Didn't know his curiosity would go into things like that.
"It's different," Gideon said softly.
Carver rubbed his hand on the blanket to clean it and then tucked himself away. He pulled Gideon further into his lap, turning him sideways so he could tuck his boy into his chest.
"You don't ever have to do that if you don't want to, sweet boy. I know you were probably interested in how I tasted, but I'm fine if you don't. I just like making you feel good. Anything you want is yours."
Gideon sighed, sinking deeper into Carver's chest. After a few still moments, he reached out, making a grabbing motion towards the food. Carver laughed and picked up what he thought his boy might want first. He began to feed Gideon, different bites of this and that as they sat in silence.
Eventually, Carver realized he needed to share why this particular piece of land was important. Pulling Gideon up to where he could see his face, Carver held his boy's waist.
"I want to tell you something about where we are." Gideon nodded as he nibbled on a strawberry. "This is where I would like to build our home," he said.
Gideon stopped eating, his eyes going wide. "Our home?" he asked.
Carver smiled and nodded, using one hand to wave towards the land. "All of this is owned by the Angels. By me. I want to clear out a piece and put a house on it for just us. I want you to be able to come out into these woods and relax anytime you want, to soak up the sun rays and feel better. I want you to have the freedom to live how you want, whatever that may be, away from the club. We'll still be connected to them, but I want a place where I can bring you and we can just be like we are now. Is that something you would want too?"
Gideon smiled, leaning forward to press a kiss against Carver's lips. It was short, but the impact it gave made Carver feel like he had won the lottery.
“Now don't go getting too excited, sweet boy. There's a lot of work that has to be done before we can live there. I want your input. You need to tell me how many rooms you want and how much stuff you think we need. I want you to decorate and show me all the things you like best. We're going to explore all of this together.”
Carver watched as Gideon's eyes teared up. He knew it wasn't sadness. This moment of connection was another piece his boy was getting he didn't think he ever would. Carver understood it. It's why he brought them to this place alone, why he knew that they needed the space. Not just because Slash had told him it was a good idea. Though his friend would probably take credit once he found out.
Gideon looked around at the trees and the land, then turned to Carver. “I want this with you, this place. I want to build it all. It's going to be perfect, isn't it?”
Carver smiled, wrapping his arms around Gideon once more and tugging him close. “Anything is perfect with you by my side, sweet boy.”
Gideon tilted his head. He was still happy, Carver could tell, but there was a question in his gaze.
"Why do you call me sweet boy?" he asked.
Carver swallowed thickly. This was a question he should have been prepared for.
He wasn't though.
“I'm not kinky in the way that people would usually think. Do you know what kink is? I know Fury has given you some reading material, but he wouldn't give me details on what. Just that your sexual education was under control.” Carver bit out the words because he had been frustrated with his friend for not sharing anything.
Gideon giggled. "Yes, I have read up about all kinds of things that are interesting and some not so interesting. At least not for me."
Carver continued after the confirmation. "Well, I'm sure then you've probably read about Daddy Kink. It's not anything that I want. You don't need to call me Daddy, and I don't want to spank you as a part of discipline, but I do enjoy the caregiving aspects. I do want to know that you're taken care of. That you don't want for anything. That I can provide all the stuff you need. And calling you sweet boy is my own little nod to it. It's kink adjacent, if you will."
Gideon bit his lip and nodded before taking another bite of his strawberry. "That makes sense. I don't think I want to call you Daddy either. Just because it could get confusing for the others."
Carver snorted at how serious Gideon had become. They both knew it wasn't because of the other Angels. Those guys wouldn't care who was being called what. But Carver appreciated the out either way. His boy was perfect for him.
The path they'd chosen wasn't a conventional one, yet it seemed to be the one that they needed. Now they would builda house together and get to experience everything. And Gideon would soon have Carver's last name once Tank fulfilled the favor that Carver called in
It had been a tumultuous year so far with all the changes that had happened. While Carver knew that it wasn't over, he was content. He had found his boy, and the future together was bright.
Together they could weather whatever storm was headed towards the Angels.
Epilogue
Gideon heldup the paint swatches. “They look the same to me.”
