“Nothing, but thank you.”
“Just know we are all here if you need anything, and I do mean anything.”
“I know Ernest, thanks.”
After the films finish,Ebby and Sly take the boys back to the B&B. All of them were excited that soon they would be living in their own house. Not that I blame them, I think I would be impatient to move out of the B&B as well, no matter how nice it was.
After saying goodbye, Adhan and I went upstairs to bed.
“It was nice of Sly to make us the protection necklaces,” Adhan says.
“It really was. I’m glad they’re moving to town.” I turn to look at Adhan who is so deliciously naked. How had I not heard him undressing?
I stare at him, he is literally perfection.
“You need to get naked, sweetheart,” he says grinning at me.
“Naked okay,” I say, making no move to start undressing. Did I mention he is literally naked perfection?
Adhan laughs and walks over to me. “You’re supposed to be undressing sweetheart.”
“Yeah undressing,” I give my head a shake, but it doesn’t help, I can no longer think or move or do anything except stare at him and think how lucky I am. Wait, did I just say that out loud?
Adhan touches my cheek. “I’m lucky as well.”
I obviously did or maybe he picked up my thoughts.
“I’d given up hope of ever meeting my fated mate, and then one day there you were, sitting in the tearoom going through paperwork. My heart skipped a beat when I shook your hand, and every day I wake up with you in my bed, I count my lucky stars and thank whoever is listening. I can’t believe how much I love you.”
I smile at him and raise my hand to his cheek. “I love you as well and can’t believe you love me as much as I love you.” I need to be naked and using my magic, I make my clothes vanish.
“Much better,” Adhan says, pulling me into his arms and kissing me. I hope this means he will ravish me, please, please, ravish me.
I soon find myself lying on our bed, with Adhan kissing me everywhere before making love to me and totally ravishing me.
CHAPTER 36
Ilook around at the mess and have to laugh, thank goodness we’re outside.
I had the best idea today; that we should all carve pumpkins, then we can line the path to the front door with them. I magicked up a marquee, tables, space heaters and everything we needed and surprised everyone when dinner was finished.
Sly, Ebby and the boys are with us, as are my parents, Emily, Clarence and Callum. Connie is sat wrapped up in her bouncy chair, watching and smiling.
All the witches amongst us are banned from using magic for this, it has to be carved properly. I’ve also made it a timed challenge. Half an hour tops!
I internally shake my head. I honestly never realised how messy it was scooping out the insides of a pumpkin. Everyone is having fun carving. I was nice and magicked up templates that we could use if we wanted, which a few of us did especially me.
We’re all laughing and joking as we carve our pumpkins. Mine is simple, just two eyes, a nose and a mouth, but honestly, it’s all I can manage, and I finish first and watch the others.
Mine didn’t even take fifteen minutes, including scooping out the insides.
“Sixteen minutes left,” I tell everyone.
“No, it’s not long enough,” Ben gripes out.
Everyone laughs and starts cutting quicker.
I grab my phone, as it’s the timer, and magic up a mat, and flop down next to Connie. I magic my hands clean and look at her.
