Page 118 of C is for Comfort
I work on Spence’s painting until my eyes are too tired and I’m using my hands to cover my yawns more than touching a brush to the canvas.
“That’s enough for tonight,” I say. “I’ll have to finish it another night.” I grin at Spence around the canvas. “Which means I’ll need you to come back and model for me.”
“I’m sure I can do that.” He stands and stretches.
To be fair, he’s been a still and patient model. I arranged him on the bed, with his shirt off, and he’s barely moved since I started sketching and then painting.
“Have you modelled before?” I ask.
Spence chuckles. “I did a stint as a live model for painting classes while I was at university. It was a reasonable way to earn some extra cash, which didn’t take up too much time.”
“Training to be a doctor must have been hard work.”
“It was good preparation for the actual job. I had too much work to do to hold down a part-time job, so modelling once a week was ideal.”
“A live model?” I ask. “Nude?”
“Sometimes.”
“I think I’m jealous.”
“I’ll happily pose nude for you, sweet boy.”
I tease my lower lip. “I’ll have to take you up on that.” I pick up a cloth to cover the canvas.
“Can I see?”
“No. Not until I’m finished.”
Spence pouts. “Not even a peek?”
“No.” I stifle another yawn.
“Are you too tired to play?” Spence asks.
A thrill runs through me. “No, Daddy.” My gaze flits to the wall that divides my room from Lexi’s.
“I’m sure she’ll be fast asleep by now. Besides, you promised to be quiet.”
I dip my chin. Iwantto play with Spence tonight, but I can’t shake the fear that Lexi might wake up and walk in to find us together. I know it’s silly. Other than the first few nights after she broke her wrist, she hasn’t woken up during the night since she was two.
Spence reaches for his bag and rummages around inside it. “Would a gag help?” he asks, lifting a small black ball on a black strap from his bag. “We haven’t discussed whether you’d want to wear one, but I thought I’d bring it to keep our options open.” Next, he takes out a blindfold and some fur-lined cuffs. “These are the things you asked me to bring. But we don’t need to use them if you don’t want to. We can simply fall asleep together if that’s what would make you the most comfortable.”
“Have I mentioned how much I love you?”
“Not today.”
I move the covered easel into the corner and then get onto the bed, kneeling beside Spence so I can kiss him. “Well, I do. You seem to have made it your life’s mission to erase all the things that make me tense.”
“Am I succeeding?”
I kiss him again, my lips lingering against his for several seconds. “Yes. Tie me up, Daddy,” I whisper before kissing his jaw. “Blindfold me.” I press my lips to his Adam’s apple. “Gag me.” I suck his earlobe into my mouth and nibble gently. “Make love to me.”
Spence makes a rumbling sound in his throat. “I’d love to, sweet boy.”
His lips crash against mine as he takes hold of the hem of my T-shirt. He kisses me until the action of taking my top off forces our lips apart, but then his mouth is on mine again, hungry and demanding as he undoes my jeans. I unbutton his shirt, my fingers clumsy as need consumes me. He pushes me onto the bed, and I lift my hips so he can take my jeans and boxer shorts off more easily. He removes my socks and makes quick work of getting naked himself.
For a while, he lies over me, kissing me as we run our hands over each other’s bodies. Our cocks rub together, and it’s not long before we’re both hard and leaking pre-cum. Being this close to him, having his warm body pressed to mine, is wonderful. The love I have for him is like a fire—hot, intense, and consuming. I understand why Archie is in such a rush to move in with Hamish. If it wasn’t for Lexi, I might dare to ask Spence if he wants to take that step too. It would make sense, as I have to move out anyway. But I can’t just think about myself and how crazy in love I am. Lexi has to be my number one priority. Always.
