Story: The Ryder Of the Night
“Don’t roll your eyes. He’s a good friend, and he needs us.”
“Us? Don’t you mean you?”
“No, I mean us. He needs all the friends he can get. He’s as lost as I was, and he doesn’t have a big, grumpy dragon for support like I did.”
“I can be grumpy if that’s what he needs.”
“No, you’ll be nice. I just told him about being poisoned with Dragon’s Bane all those years. He’s in shock that my parents could do that to me. We both have a lot still to process, but at least we have each other to get through it. It helps having someone who was there, you know?”
I rolled my eyes again but buried my face in her neck, breathing in her scent.
“Oh! And Luka is still wearing his pendant. I said we’d see Kiera about finding a way to remove it without hurting him. Do you think he will have powers when it’s gone?”
“Maybe.” I didn’t care about Luka’s potential powers in that moment. I scooped her into bed, not even bothering to shed my uniform, needing to feel her. We tangled up together. “What happened with Jaxus and Kiera?”
“Nothing. He hasn’t said anything, and it’s not my place.”
I was still reeling from that. “She isn’t going to be happy.”
“Do you think?” Zaria asked.
“She hates flyers.” I laughed. Those are the only fae she stays away from—swore them off after a bad experience years ago.
“This isn’t a mating.” Zaria laughed against my throat.
“Where are Jaxus and Luka staying?”
“Kiera helped me arrange rooms for them. Jaxus will have to go into training if he stays, but I don’t know what Luka will do. I don’t think he’ll want to go back to find our families, but what is here for him?” She sighed. “I feel five years older.”
“Me, too. At least.” I closed my eyes, inhaling her scent. “Are you moving to my rooms or am I moving here?”
Zaria pulled back enough to look into my eyes. “You’d move into mine? Yours have to be so much nicer.”
I’d never realized she’d never been to my rooms. I’d dealt with everything so wrong, but things would be different from here on. “I don’t relish the idea, but if you think I’m not going to be sleeping wherever you are, you’re wrong.”
A smile broke out over her face. “I will move to yours, but only because you have balconies on your wing. I’ve seen them.”
I rolled my eyes but laughed, too. “One more thing before we can be done with this day and sleep.”
“Do we have to sleep?”
I stared at her.
“I’ve been thinking about the offer to sit on your face since you made it...”
I groaned. “You may sit on any part of me you like as long as some part of me is inside you.”
She squirmed against me, rubbing her hip against my cock. “Which part will be inside me when I sit on your face? Your tongue or fingers?”
I rolled her under me, my mouth hovering over hers. “Both.”
She arched into me. “What did you have to tell me?”
“I’m not talking anymore until I’ve made you come a half a dozen times or so.” I rocked my hips against her, already feeling the dampness pooling between her thighs.
She whimpered, grabbing me through my uniform. “Get these off.”
I grabbed her wrist playfully. “Oh, no, you don’t. Yours first. I was promised you sitting on my face.”
