Page 56 of The Alien Warrior's Mate
She dipped her chin down. “Yez.”
Fire burned through his venas as Korben released his pants. It fell away like the shedding of skin. He was heavy with need. Bursting with passion. No fabric separated Korben from the human now.
It was just him and Sah-ah.
His fingers scraped against her soft flesh. He roughly dragged her underneath him, ignoring her grunt of surprise at his firmness. Without wasting a second, Korben shoved Sah-ah’s legs apart as far as they would go.
He would claim his mate.
He would taste of her sweetness.
He would slick her heat with his essence.
This was the beginning of a bonding. And nothing, not his secrets or her true origins, would take her away from him.
Twenty-Three
Sara
She woke before Korben.Orange sunlight crept through the room, dancing over the beautifully crafted furniture and a glass mirror that hung from a hook on the wall.
Sara blinked once.
Twice.
She slowly lifted a hand to capture the sun’s rays. The light filtered through her fingers.
It seemed to dance. Almost like magic.
She tried to move her legs and felt soreness shaft between her thighs. Chewing on her bottom lip, Sara shifted her head to the side and studied the handsome alien sleeping next to her.
Korben.
Her gaze slid heavily down his naked body and lingered on his hips. Okay.Nowshe knew why she was sore. Korben had spent all of last night twisting her into shapes she never knew she could conform to. Though she sensed he’d tried to be gentle, the big alien was simply too powerful for her.
Sara’s chest heated as she remembered Korben pressing behind her, his grunts intertwining with her groans and her head smacking into the mattress. She remembered raking her fingers through his hair and down his broad chest. Letting her touch fall lower and lower until he trembled and shuddered with pleasure.
She remembered open arms and open legs. The bed rocking with so much force it almost cracked. The tears that leaked down her face. The cries that spilled from her lips.
Sara still couldn’t believe she’d survived the night. She’d survived taking all of him. Several times, in the heat of Korben’s passion, she thought that she would die. Or maybe that she’d already died. That she was in heaven. Where else would such pleasure exist?
Sara tried to move her legs once more, only to feel the slight throb again. So… going hard and fast with the blue alien warrior hadn’t come without its consequences. How long would this soreness last?
She ran her gaze down Korben’s big, sculpted body again and grimaced. After accepting that much, it would probably takea while.
Korben made a low sound in his sleep. She pressed her hands beneath her cheeks and moved carefully so she faced him. He’d made an important speech last night in a deep, guttural language. Beneath the desperation and desire in his eyes, she’d seen an almost steel-like resolve.
He’d made a promise. Maybe even a vow to her.
She’d said yes.
To… what exactly?
Being his lover?
Being his mate?
Did it work like that? Did they just say ‘yes’ and that was it? That made them official?
