Sah-ah.

He moved to her top lip next, nibbling gently and realizing he enjoyed the taste of both of her lips equally. His hand slipped down to the small of her back, just above her plump bottom and he gathered her up, twining his tongue around hers and raking it.

She moaned again, low in her throat and he delighted in the sound.

In the taste.

In the touch.

A world of pleasure crushed over him and it was more than he’d expected. He eased back, offering Sah-ah a chance to catch her breath and prepare for further invasion in more private places.

Beads of water fell down her beautiful cheekbones, down her delicate neck, and over her shoulders. He nuzzled his nose into the corner of her throat and licked at the droplets. Curving his tongue over her quivering flesh, he listened to her gasp.

She pressed her hand against his cheek, her eyes closed and her knees buckling. Korben thought she would find her footing, but Sah-ah continued to sink as he suckled and licked at her neck and chest.

He acted fast and swept her up into his arms before she could fall into the water. Her lashes fluttered and her chest heaved almost violently. She looked like one drunk on spirits.

Except she was drunk on him.

So very drunk.

Pleased, he kissed her lips again as he lifted her and crushed her to him. Sah-ah wrapped her legs around his waist, poising herself perfectly for his heat. If he pressed forward, he would be buried in her.

Korben brushed away the thought. This much, Sah-ah deserved.

A choice.

To choose him.

To choose of her own volition, after discussion and negotiations and certainty that their values, worldview and standards lined up just as well as his groin did with the heat between her thighs.

For now, he laid her out on the bank of the lake and teased her until she screamed his name, giving her a taste of what it would be like to be his mate.

She unraveled before him in all her magnificent glory, her curls sprawled around her and her thighs spread out for his invasion. Sah-ah tugged at his hair. Her pleasured groans sent birds aflutter. And as her moans seeped over his skin, Korben realized that this was his woman. His mate. His beautiful little body.

He’d already made his choice.

He wanted Sah-ah to stay with him.
