Story: Jett
“About us.”
I blink, trying to make sense of his words. Us? Since when is there anus? My mind spins, heart racing at the way he speaks like this isn’t just a one-night thing. Part of me wants to remind him that there is no us, but something stops me.
“We should do something special. I want to make the most of our time here.”
My heart skips. “This is already special.”
“And where will it lead?” He cups my face as I frown, his touch soft, eyes intense.
I try to gauge where he's at, but he’s talking as if this could go somewhere. “I thought we were just—you know, getting each other out of our systems,” I say, trying to keep my tone casual.
A grin spreads across his face, wicked and knowing. In one swift move, he rolls me back onto the bed, his body pressing against mine, eyes alight with mischief. “Not a chance, Ms. Summers.”
His eyes glint with mischief. I bite my lip, knowing exactly what’s coming next. He flips me back onto the bed and places his body above mine. I am going to be so sore in the morning. Reaching for a foil packet, his gaze locks on mine as he opens it, rolling it on. “I’m going to need way more than one night to get you out of my system.”
These words send a shock of dismay through me. Deep down, I know the truth. There’s no future for us. Not beyond this place, not beyond this moment.
“Daddy!”
I hear Brooke's voice and her footsteps outside the bedroom.
“Hide!” Jett cries. I jump out of bed in a panic, and rush over to collect my clothes but I don’t have time to get them.
“In there.” He opens the door to his bathroom. I dive in just as he grabs the sheet from me, leaving me naked. He throws himself onto the bed and I close the door quickly.
“Daddy!” Brooke sounds panicked. “Cari's not here. She left!”
I suppress a giggle as I look around for towels. I dare not open the drawers, so I take the one tiny hand towel I see and wrap it around myself. It just about covers me.
“She's not?”
“She's not, Daddy. Did she go back home?”
“No, angel! She would never leave us.”
“Where is she then?”
“She might have gone for a run, on the beach.”
“Oh.” How easy children are to convince.
“How about you go and brush your teeth, sprout, and I’ll do the same. Then we can have breakfast together.”
“Okay.”
I hear her footsteps fade away, and in the next moment Jett appears, holding the sheet to him.
He locks the door, and drops the sheet.
I gasp as my eyes settle on his hardness.
"Can't let this go to waste." He moves towards me and rips my towel away.
"But ... Brooke ..." I protest.
He places his hands under my thighs and lifts me easily. My legs wrap around his hips and I instinctly drop a kiss on his neck.
"I need to be inside you," he rasps, his voice thick with need.
