Story: His Kidnapped Bride

It is 11:30, and Mayil still hasn't called Sweta. While she had said that she would definitely call Sweta at 11:00, Sweta has called her two to three times, but she did not pick up her mobile even once, due to which she is getting upset. Jagdish had a very important meeting today, due to which he has not come yet, and he has also informed Sweta. She is very upset, but she does not want to disturb him because she knows Mayil wants to spend as much time with her friends. That's why she is late too, so she did not say anything to Jagdish.

Jagdish comes inside with a wide smile on his face, as his meeting went very well and he won the new project. Heimmediately wants to go to Mayil's room to celebrate, as he has always done so. He has a cake in his hand, and on seeing Sweta there, he tells her quickly.

"Hey Sakhi, I got the project. Let us quickly celebrate; where is Mahi?"

"Jagi, she is not at home."

" Means….."

"Means only that she has not come from her party yet. She went on to say that she might be late today. She had said that she was going to come very late today. I thought she was joking. But she is really coming late. I have also called her. But that girl is probably so engrossed in her fun that she is not even calling back."

"You always have very strict behavior toward her. It is not good to be so harsh. She is going to college now. Be a little flexible with her; she always obeys your words. If today she has forgotten something in the fun with her friends, then there is no need to get so angry."

Sweta knows very well that Jagdish is not saying anything wrong to her, but she is always scared about her daughter. That's why she doesn't want to understand his words. She starts calling her again, but Jagdish immediately takes out his phone and sees her. Shweta takes a sigh of relief because she knows very well that Mahi will definitely talk to her father.

Jagdish knows very well that he cannot convince Sweta. So he calls his daughter, but even after calling two to three times, Mayil does not answer any calls. Sweta gets very angry seeing Mayil's reckless behavior, and she has thought that when she comes home, she will put her under house arrest for at least oneweek. Because of the way this girl is doing today, it is not right at all.

"Relax; we will wait for her for an hour. If all the friends are together, then they must be having fun, try to understand this. If she doesn't come after an hour, I will scold her along with you. But don't bother yourself like this. She will come."

Sweta sits silently, listening to Jagdish's words. She only wants to see her daughter safe in front of her because bad thoughts always come to mind, due to which she is scared about her. Time is passing, but somehow neither Mayil is coming back nor does she pick up her phone. Jagdish is also upset, so he immediately calls Sarika.

"Yes, uncle, is she okay now?"

"What do you mean?... Sarika, where are you?"

"At home, we arrived an hour ago. I thought maybe Mayu's health got worse. That's why you called me to ask what we ate?."

"Then where is Mahi?"

"What are you talking about? She had left the club only at 9:00, and now it is 12:45."

Suddenly, like the floor slips from his feet, his eyes are wide open, and his breath is stuck in his throat. It has been many hours since Mayil left, but she did not come home. Thinking of this, he is now scared.

CHAPTER 35

It has turned from night to morning.Jagdish has tried to find Mayil everywhere, but he cannot find her anywhere. The police haven't filed a complaint of kidnapping for 24 hours yet, butJagdish is a well-known name, so they are definitely helping him.

His messy hair, bent shoulders, and tired face should show how much he is worried for his daughter. Sweta is at home and waiting for her daughter. But Jagdish is neither picking up her phone nor giving her any kind of proper answer to her questions.

Jagdish's heartbeat has increased very much with passing time. He is currently sitting in the police station, trying to explain his point to the police.

"She is just a minor... She is 17, sir, and I am sure she will never take a step like this; she is not running away with her boyfriend, as you say. "

"Sir, just look at the video... She is willing to go with a boy, and that couple is very smart. Look, he parked the car in the dark, and he stood near the car so that no one could even see his face. You can see it comfortably in the CCTV footage. Your daughter has gone with him. I agree that she is only 17 years old, so it will be considered a case of kidnapping. But you see, well, the girl has gone of her own free will."

Jagdish's heart is not ready to accept that his MAHI likes someone, and all of a sudden she decides that she will go with him. He knows his daughter very well. He has given so much freedom to his daughter that she can comfortably sit with him and Shweta and speak her heart to them. She can't do this; she can say it with great confidence by shouting at the whole world. But here everyone is pointing fingers at his upbringing and his daughter.

The police have seized CCTV footage of the same club, in which Mayil is coming out very comfortably without any staggeringsteps and a boy is standing outside. She immediately goes to him, whose face and number of the car are not visible all because of the darkness, and she hugs him and immediately leaves with him.

Jagdish has rewinded this CCTV footage many times, but not once did he feel that Mayil did not go of her own free will, and his heart is not ready to believe that his daughter ran away like this.

"Sir, I am sure my daughter is kidnapped."

The police officer sitting in front is much older than Jagdish Ji. He is also understanding Jagdish's condition very comfortably and has also checked the CCTV footage very well. He says this while explaining it to Jagdish.

"Sir, every year many fathers like you sit in front of me who blindly believe in their children, and their children suddenly betray them and go with the boys and girls they love. These children of today's era cannot understand our pain. You have to admit that your daughter has run away with her lover."

"No, she is not... There is no doubt that someone kidnapped her. My baby girl is only 17 years old. She didn't have many friends. We were her best friends. She used to tell us everything. She never mentioned anything about a boy. I can't believe any guy in her life. You do the investigation; don't talk nonsense about my daughter. I have full faith in her and believe that something bad has happened to her. Find her before anything bad happens to her. I join my hands in front of you... I request that you and I fall to your feet... Just let me bring my baby girl safely, please."
