Story: His Kidnapped Bride
"There is no use in lying, Jagdish Kaushik, because I saw you through my eyes... You brutally killed my entire family."
Jagdish Kaushik closes his eyes. He knows there is no use in hiding the truth. So he looks at Mayil first, looks at Mrityunjay, and tells him.
"I was not the one you saw... He was my father, Prakash Kaushik, who looked exactly like me."
The grip on Mrityunjay's hands starts to loosen a bit. He couldn't believe at all that there was anything that escaped his sight or that something like this truly happened.
Sunaina, standing outside, is trying to remember everything very well. She had never seen Jagdish's father. But Jagdish always used to tell her that whenever you see my father, she will not be able to differentiate between us—who is Jagdish and who is Prakash?
Holding her head, she suddenly falls near the door. Hearing the sound of her fall, Mrityunjay immediately leaves Jagdish and runs outside. Jagdish looks at the fallen figure in front.
"Sunaina….”
CHAPTER 94
"I was not the one you saw... He was my father, who looked exactly like me."
Sunaina, standing outside, is trying to remember everything very well after listening to Jagdish's confession.
He had told her many times how it is when he has to avoid any of his friends and spend time with Sunaina. In such a situation, he takes the help of his father, and his father helps him very comfortably because he did not know that he was not spending his time with any other friend but was asking for his help to spend time with his girlfriend. He often used to say that whatever difference there was on his face, his father used to cover it up with makeup easily because he still looked so young like his son, and a few gray strands could be easily covered by makeup.
And most importantly, she could not even tell Jagdish that she was pregnant, and as soon as she entered the house, the man who she thought was Jagdish constantly hit her in the stomach. Only Jagdish's father knew she was pregnant at that time; no one else.
Thinking of all these things, she starts feeling dizzy, and she falls, holding her head. Everyone turns and looks at her side. Mritunjay immediately runs towards her, picking up his mother and taking her in his arms, and Jagdish's eyes also go to Sunaina. On seeing her alive, he is very surprised because, many years ago, Sunaina died for him.
"Sunaina… Sunaina... she died, right. Sunaina..."
Mayil can understand his condition very well, but suddenly he is becoming so hyper that she immediately starts calling the doctor.
"Doctor…"
Mrityunjay turns and looks at Jagdish, knowing that there is no sense in hiding anything. So he picks up his mother in his arms from the floor and brings her inside.
The doctor immediately comes there and starts checking on Sunaina and Jagdish, but Jagdish is not able to calm down at all. He is constantly screaming about seeing Sunaina because he has seen her after so many years, and he cannot believe at all that she has been alive for so many years and that he could not meet her at all.
"Mahi, Sunaina was alive, but she could not meet me... Why did she do this to me? She should have met me. I can't forgive myself that she died because of me... Her family suffered because of our relationship..."
Mayil can understand her father's condition very well. That's why she holds his face, forcefully turns him towards herself, and says,.
"Papa, please relax, doctor."
The doctor immediately starts trying to convince him by giving him injections.
"Sir, please don't worry so much... You have recently had open heart surgery, and this type of anxiety is not good for you. Try to take care of yourself. Everything can be solved with great ease too."
"Sunaina… Listen, I didn't want to betray you."
But Sunaina is unconscious, and doctors are trying to handle him. So Mrityunjay immediately turns around, grabs his wheelchair, and tells him a bit angrily.
"She is not okay. Stop yelling... Let her rest. And if you want to tell everything and know everything, then keep yourself well too.... Just relax…."
Mayil is holding Jagdish's hand tightly. Jagdish becomes completely silent and starts looking only at Sunaina. The doctor checks Sunaina and tells Mrityunjay.
"She will get consciousness within 15 minutes, but try to maintain everything calmly, sir, because I think all are feeling some trouble here."
He nods, sits beside her, and looks at Jagdish. Mrityunjay does not want to say anything in front of Sunaina that will cause her a lot of pain. That's why he immediately wants to end things before she comes to her senses.
"When you refused to marry my aunt, she was pregnant... She wanted to tell you, but you didn't listen to her. That's why she called your father, and you are saying that your father has committed this heinous crime along with my whole family, so I want to know... If you came to know about your father's crime, then how did you not take any action?"
