Story: His Kidnapped Bride
"Do we both already know each other?”
CHAPTER 21
"Do we both already know each other? ..."
Mrityunjay looks into Mayil's eyes. He is not at all in a position to tell the truth to her, which is very hard to digest for her, and he doesn't want to lie to her. Because he has to hide everything he has to say, he will have to tell her one more lie. In such a state of confusion, he is just looking into her eyes. She asked him again.
"You know me, or I know you... Did we meet somewhere?"
Mrityunjay does not want to spoil the matter by saying anything, so he holds her hand and asks her to explain.
"It's very late already. Your head will hurt again. If you wake up for a long time, go to sleep, and there is no need to bother yourself so much about anything."
Mayil is trying her best to find Mrityunjay in that unknown person who is in front of her right now, but she can't see anyone even after trying hard. Mayil says this to herself by putting her hand on her head.
"I think I have started thinking too much. Everything I feel is probably connected to me. I'm sorry I bothered you too. But I don't know what is there in my past that keeps bothering me all the time."
Mrityunjay does not tell her anything, takes her again in his arms, and lies down. He is constantly moving his fingers lightly across her hair. But it was as if sleep suddenly forgot the path of her beautiful eyes. Mrityunjay's eyes are closed, and Mayil rests her head on his chest. She is constantly feeling his fingers caressing her hair. Along with her, he is also not sleeping, due to which she is not feeling good. Suddenly, she held his hand and said,
"Jay, please, you sleep... I am fine... Maybe because of Papa's tension and many other things of the day, I am not able to sleep."
He feels so divine after listening to "Jay" from her. He intertwined his fingers with her, and with his closed eyes, he said,.
"Mahi I am okay... Try to sleep."
Mayil starts getting up from bed; there is no closeness around him, but he immediately looks at her, holds her by the waist, and says he sees her suddenly standing up like this.
"What... "
"Please sleep... I am not feeling sleepy. I will sit on the balcony for some time. Maybe if I feel better, then I will come back and go to sleep. Please sleep; I already bother you a lot. I wouldn't like it at all if you couldn't sleep because of me."
Mrityunjay quickly stands up with the duvet; she is unable to understand what he is doing. Then, holding her hand, she goes with her to the balcony. Mayil is not feeling good at all, and he is unable to sleep because of her. But on the other hand, she has a very good feeling that he is trying to comfort her by disturbing his sleep for the stranger whom he met a few days ago.
There is a hammock on the balcony that is well tied from both ends, where she can sleep or lie down comfortably. She finds the hammock quite comfortable, so she smiles when she sees it. She is just looking at the balcony when suddenly Jai lifts her in his arms and lays her on the hammock.
Mritunjay immediately lies down close to her. While lying on the bed, both of them were just touching each other side by side, but when lying on the hammock, she feels like she will probably lay on the Mrityunjay. As soon as he adjusts well, he immediately makes her lay on his chest. She is lying completely on top of him,and all of a sudden her heartbeat has increased, which makes him feel magical. He tells her again while caressing her hair.
"The more you think about keeping me away from you, the closer I will come to you, and the sooner you get used to keeping me close to you, the sooner it will be easier for you to understand everything... Now relax; you will definitely be able to sleep because I know you love natural air instead of an air conditioner room."
Mayil immediately raises her head and starts looking at Mrityunjay, who smiles again, holds her head, and puts it on his chest. Mayil knows there is no point in asking questions because he knows a lot about her. Sometimes she feels as if she doesn't know as much about herself as he does about her.
And as Mrityunjay said, the cold wind blowing outside is giving her a lot of relief. When she closes her eyes in the cold breeze and falls asleep on his chest, he smiles when he feels she is soundly asleep in his arms without any trouble. There is only happiness here because, even after forgetting everything, she has not forgotten the comfort of his arms, in which she used to sleep peacefully.
He doesn't want to move forward at all, and everything gets messed up because he knows it. If Mayil remembers everything, then once again she also has to face those hateful memories, which are a bit difficult for her.
He closes his eyes and sleeps soundly with his love, who is sleeping in his arms, forgetting the world. The moon is also spreading its light around and sharing its happiness with them; he is also very happy that they are with each other.
When Mayil wakes up the next day, she finds herself tightly wrapped in Mrityunjay's arms. Her face hides in his crook. She slowly raises her face and gets surprised when he is smiling and looking at her.
"Good morning, wifey..."
"Good morning…."
She tries to lift herself from there silently, not meeting her shy gaze with his mischievous one. But she is feeling a bit of a failure in this. Mritunjay laughs at her attempt and says,.
"May I, ma'am..."
She nods her head lightly because she feels too shy to look into his gaze. Mrityunjay grasps her very well with one hand and quickly lowers his feet to stand up. He has held Mayil very well, due to which Mayil suddenly stands with him by holding his broad shoulders.
