Story: His Kidnapped Bride

Mayil was on the very last step and was walking very carefully, keeping her attention, when suddenly she fell from those stairs. As soon as she falls, Mrityunjay immediately comes running to her.

"Mahi… What the hell, can't you take care of yourself?"

She is not in a position to say anything at all because she felt that someone had called her very loudly, and because of that, her attention was distracted for a few seconds, and she fell from the stairs.

"Mahi … Are you okay? where you hurt…"

"I am okay. I just feel tired. Jay, I want to sleep. Please take me in your arms."

Mrityunjay does not understand anything, but this is not her usual tone because every time she rightfully orders him to take her in his arms, he feels as if she were requesting him. He does not understand, but he immediately takes her in his arms and sits on the couch. She is constantly wrapping herself in him and trying to hide herself.

"Mahi, what happened, Jaan?"

"I feel like something bad happened."

"Everything is alright. Just close your eyes and try to sleep."

"Hmmm…"

Mayil does not take long to fall asleep; she immediately feels herself in the safe arms of Mrityunjay and falls asleep. Suddenly, Mrityunjay's phone starts vibrating.

"Hmmm…."

"Sir, this is very bad news. The man we have hired at Jagdish's house to look after him. He said that he saw Jagdish picking up Shweta in his arms and taking her to the hospital. When I inquired about everything, it came to light that Shweta had fallen from the stairs, and at this time, her condition is very serious."

Mrityunjay's eyes stop only on Mayil's face. His eyes could not move away from her face. He is not in a position to say anything. He immediately hangs up the phone and starts pressing his head with his two fingers. Mayil stirs in her sleep, clutches him tightly, and murmurs.

"Mumma… "

He immediately closes his eyes because the situation is really too dire. Right now he is thinking only about Mayil, and he knows very well that Shweta is too serious. And how can he tell his wife, who is sleeping in his arms like an innocent baby, what her mother's condition is? He has no idea what to do at this time. He scoops up his arms very protectively.

Mayil's eyes open, and she finds herself still in Mrityunjay's arms. He is lovingly caressing her hair. She kisses his chest and asks him in a sleepy voice.

"How long did I sleep?"

"3 hours..."

She suddenly opens her eyes, stares at Mrityunjay's face, and, looking at him, shouts at him.

"You have been sitting here and hugging me like this for the last 3 hours. Have you gone completely mad? You would have made me lie on the bed."

Mrityunjay does not say anything to her at all and just keeps looking into her eyes. There's something strange here. Mayil is looking into his eyes when she realizes this. This is not the place where she slept. She starts looking around. They are on the plane.

"Where are we going?"

"We are in India."

On hearing the name of India, those bad memories start reviving in Mayil's memories, which she had gathered in the corner of her heart and left her house in a very vulnerable state. She is shocked; she was enjoying the Maldives, and suddenly they are going to India. She does not know why Mrityunjay brought her here, but she does not want to stay here at all. She does not seem to say anything to Mrityunjay, and only then does he tell her.
