Story: His Kidnapped Bride
"I don't have any appetite."
"Food is set on the table downstairs, so you should just focus on eating. Come on!"
Mayil feels that whatever this voice says, she should believe everything that she is hearing from him. She silently followed him to the dining table.
CHAPTER 19
*"I have made a complete list of what I have to do in my marriage. If you don't accomplish any of those things, I will get so angry with you that I will never talk to you."
The sound of his laughter starts reverberating all around. She looks at him angrily, but he is just laughing. In the end, he stops laughing, holds her hands well, and tells her.
"Ok, I made a promise. On the day of our wedding, the henna on your hands will be the darkest, so for this, I will have to love you the most. It is said that the girl whose Heena is the darkest. Her husband loves her the most. Come on, I'll show you my love."
He starts moving towards her with a mischievous smile on his face as her eyes widen, and she runs away from him and tells him.
"Don't you dare... I will kill you."
"Wrong sentence dear, It doesn't kill you; it just kisses you, loves you, love... Well, whatever you want to do, you will have to come to me... By going away like this, you can't do anything."
Suddenly he runs towards her, due to which she also runs away. Their laughter is echoing all around.*
Suddenly, Mayil opens her eyes and sits down on her bed, gasping hungrily for air. She looks around; no one is there. She fills a glass of water for herself, drinks it in one go, and looks at the clock; it is 7:00 in the morning. She does not understand why these strange thoughts do not leave her, which have started coming to her more and more day by day.
She looked at her hands, which were filled with henna. She had never seen such a dark color of henna on anyone's hands. She murmurs.
"I can't marry Mrityunjay. I know there was someone in my life whom I loved very much and who loved me very much, but I cannot even wish to do so. There will be injustice with the one whom I love and also with Mrityunjay. I should talk to him. He is definitely in his room."
She hurriedly goes to the washroom, finishes all her chores as soon as possible, and comes back to the room where the TV is on and the news of her marriage is spread all over the media.
"Kaushik and his sons are on No.2 just in a week. Of course, it was bound to happen. The world's number-one businessman is about to become his son-in-law. In such a situation, the share of this company had to go up because everyone is quite sure that, in the coming future, Mrityunjay Sisodia's company and Jagdish Kaushik's company will merge with each other. It will be the greatest merger ever to happen in the world."
She is so lost in her thoughts that there is a knock at her door. She is in a presidential suit right now. Mrityunjay has hired a maid and two lady guards for her. One of them opens the doorfor her, bows her head, and stands there. Mohan comes inside by rolling Jagdish's wheelchair.
"Papa…"
As soon as Mayil sees Jagdish, she runs close to him and sits on the ground, and, looking at her father's face properly, she smiles and tells Mohan.
"Doctor, allow him."
"Mrityunjay came to know last night that you want Jagdish to be here in your marriage too, so he has set up a whole team of doctors here for Jagdish. Jagdish will be in front of you till the marriage takes place. The beautician will be coming soon. You should be ready for the wedding too."
Mayil smiles and hugs Jagdish, and she does not know why tears start flowing from her eyes. Mohan leaves the place, leaving them with each other. In no time, Mrityunjay comes there, who clenches his jaw very hard on seeing Mayil crying. He does not like that Mayil meets Jagdish at all, but he cannot keep any of her wishes unfulfilled.
He looks at her hands, where dark henna is ravishing her white skin. He smiles at this. Slowly, he comes to Mayil, smiling lightly, and tells her.
"So, how is my bride?"
His voice always creates havoc in her whole system; this voice is very soothing for her. She looks at him and says,.
"Mr. Sisodiya, I want to talk to you."
"It's Jay for you..."
"Mritunjay… Please listen to me."
"I am all ears."
"I have forgotten 5 years of my life and have forgotten what happened in 5 years... What if someone is in my life?
