If Justin was trying to play things casual, he’d succeeded, but Jack caught a slight crack in his voice before he’d stopped talking. Jack was under the impression that Justin wasn’t one of those people who doled out affection willingly or publicly and he’d quickly tried to school his emotions about whatever was happening with Keith.

“The first time, we all did a scene together at home, then Keith fucked Micah.” Justin paused and took a drink.

“Did you fuck him?”

Justin shook his head.

“He’s too new,” Justin said in way of explanation. “He comes to Rapture, he knows us, but he’s never been in a serious D/s relationship before as far as I know. He needs to be taught things.”

“Isn’t that what a good dom does?” Jack asked, well aware he already knew the answer. Daddy tendencies aside, Jack hadn’t ever identified himself as a dominant. He knew the ways that Verity and Landon liked to play, the way they chose to live their lives, and that was fine but it wasn’t him.

He knew that was probably a ridiculous thought, considering all the spanking and rule setting he got off on, but he’d always imagined himself to be more of a controlling caretaker than a dom or a master.

“We tried some things. Domestic servitude, for one.”

“Everyone should have a good house slave,” Jack teased with a small laugh.

“Yeah, well, that’s very much not Keith.” Justin laughed and relaxed against the bench. “We tried it, and he did it. He went along with it. God, did he ever. He’s achingly obedient.”

“So is that not Keith, or is it not Justin and Micah?”

Justin cast him a sidelong glance.

“Micah just wants Keith, anyway he can have him,” Justin admitted.

“And you?”

“It was new to me. I’m not against it. I trust in the relationship Micah and I have, but if there’s a third person, it needs to benefit us both somehow. I don’t need another hole to fuck. Micah has two, three if I’m feeling creative.”

Jack rolled his eyes and chortled. Justin seemed more inclined to talk about it now, so Jack tipped his head encouraging him to continue—because he was a Daddy, and that was what Daddies did.

“So we had tried a few things, trying to find a groove. I offered Keith a collar, you know, to let him know we were serious about him even though we hadn’t figured it all out yet.” Justin focused his attention on the lid of his coffee.

“And he didn’t take it.”

“Well, he took it and said he’d think about it but gave it back. Micah thinks it’s my fault.” Justin cleared his throat and took another long drink of his coffee.

“Why would he think that?” Jack asked, remembering the strong, yet sorrowful way Justin had taken Micah in hand on Sunday night.

“He thinks I wasn’t all in.”

“You offered him a collar. That seems pretty in to me.”

“It’s probably a combination of things,” Justin said with a sigh. “I enjoy Keith, but I don’t think he’s is up to the level of submission that Micah offers me for one.”

“Do you need that much?”

“It’s new,” Justin protested. “As much as Keith was trying to work things out between us, so was I. I’m a Dom, not a know-it-all.”

Jack chuckled.

“It all just moved so fast.”

“I can imagine getting fucked by a married couple would be a little overwhelming,” Jack agreed.

“I never slept with him.”

Jack choked on his coffee. “No?”
