Callum stared at the words on his phone, reading them over and over, trying to make sense of the kindness Jack was trying to show him. Computers were easily five-hundred dollars. That was a ton of money for Callum, and Jack was willing to drop that on him like it was pennies.

Not only did Callum struggle to grasp what it must be like to have that kind of spending money available, but he fought with the idea that someone wanted to do something like that forhim. Jack would get something out of it too, obviously, but Callum would benefit the most.
