“Take care of me, Daddy,” Callum whispered.
“I will, kitten.”
“Own me.”
Jack pumped his hips against Callum’s cock.
“Love me.”
Jack sealed their mouths together and showed Callum just how much he already did.

Callum
“This is weird.”
Callum was leaning over the counter in his kitchen watching Jack fry up some bacon. It was nearly noon. Jack had been here for barely more than twelve hours, and the majority of those hours they’d spent sleeping.
Now Jack was making him breakfast.
“What’s weird about it?”
“Well, that you’re here for one.”
“I think it’s nice.” He turned and set the bacon next to some eggs he’d already scrambled.
“It is nice,” Callum agreed. “But still weird.”
Jack made a sound in the back of his throat and returned his attention to the stove. Callum picked at the bacon on his plate and waited for Jack to join him.
“How does this work?” he asked after Jack settled beside him. The question had been eating away at him since he’d woken up this morning, after the shock and excitement of Jack’s unexpected arrival had dulled to a more manageable sparkle. Jack had an entire life in New York that he’d just what? Left behind at the drop of a hat?
Jack had been putting Callum off until August, August, August because he’d been so busy with his work obligations and now those things just didn’t matter to him? It didn’t make sense to Callum, and although he was happy as shit that Jack was here with him in California, the whole situation reeked of a regrettable temporariness that turned his stomach.
“I need to find someone to sublet my apartment, but that’ll be easy…”
“What about work?” Callum interrupted.
“I can find a job here.”
“But you had all those clients. That was why it was always August, remember? And now they don’t matter anymore?”
Jack eyed him cautiously. “Not as much as you.”
Callum scoffed. “What changed?”
“You’re being particularly salty this morning, kitten,” Jack warned, taking a drink of his coffee.
Callum tilted his head in silence and waited for an answer.
“I was really sick, Callum. It could have been so much worse than it was,” Jack continued, his voice somber. He looked at Callum and his eyes were so dark brown they nearly looked black. “It put things into perspective for me.”
“So you’re here to stay.”
“I’m here.”
Callum grimaced.
