“No you’re not, you think I’m cute.”
I pursed my lips and turned away from him.
“Now you are mad.”
I paid no attention to the creature lurking behind me as I placed the glass jar on the table. Benedict kept his groin area shielded while I donned a fresh pair of gloves and retrieved another spool of wire threading. I gestured for him to remove the cover, and when I glanced down, I grimaced.
“Dear Lord, did you rip your dick off or something? There is shredded meat everywhere.”
Benedict shielded his eyes with his hand. "I figured if Oryx could handle private matters, I could as well, and, well, I got a bit too enthusiastic. I ended up being too rough."
“No kidding.”
Oryx snickered and I elbowed him in the gut.
Chapter 15
Oryx
Vesper was cleaning the supplies while I continued to stare at Benedict.
He had a smug look on his face, leaning back on the table with the cloth covering his privates.
She asked him to hold off on getting dressed, as she had never tried reattaching body parts on a living person before. She went on about tendons, nerves, and other components that were beyond my understanding.
I mean, how hard is it to put a penis on someone’s body?
She wanted to ensure that he regained sensation, as he didn't bleed. Neither of us did, which she found strange. I don'tknow what's considered normal, only that she bleeds and tastes incredible, whether from her wounds or between her legs.
Benedict grabbed his groin and looked over at her.
“Human huh? How is it? I heard they are small. From stories I mean.” He sniffs and his penis rises from underneath the cloth.
Is he thinking about what is mine?
I growled and got up from where I was lying. Though I am tall, I wish I had wings. With them, I could appear even more intimidating and take to the skies.
Benedict's cock rose more, its presence sickening me.
He was still looking at my pet.
MY human.
I seized the working table, its wheels making it a tool of fate, and with a force, I hurled the table around, driving him relentlessly towards the doorway.
Vesper gasped as Benedict’s head hit the wall and his cloth went flying off, exposing himself.
Vesper pursed her lips together. “Was that necessary?” Her gaze lingering on me.
“He’s fixed, he can leave.” I growled. I didn’t want her to look at him a moment longer. Not this—thing.
Benedict jumped off the table, grabbed the sheet and covered himself. “Yes, it's working. Up to working order,” he chuckled nervously.
I swear to the Under Shadows if he swings it around.
And he does.
I unleashed a thunderous roar that reverberated through the lab, causing the very walls to tremble. Glasses and bottles shuddered upon their shelves, their contents sloshing precariously. Vesper leaps gracefully across the room, deftly reaching the tables laden with mixtures whose purposes are mysteries to me, her hands grasping the glasses so they did not fall.
