CHAPTERELEVEN
Stella
Oh fuck.
It’s raining so hard it stings my skin. The water beneath me soaks every inch of me and my body trembles, but with his hips pinning me into the mud, it’s not from the cold.
His eyes are dark as they hold mine.
That move was so tender that it threw me for a loop, but that’s what this is.
It’s a game.
I might have no clue where the finish line is, but I already know who’s going to win.
With each flash of his wicked eyes, I already feel myself willingly handing myself over to him.
It’s a dangerous place to be, but right now, I’m not sure I want to be anywhere else.
I need more. I crave more of his secrets, anything that will help open up everything I’m desperate to learn about this place and why he turned on me the second he learned who I was.
“I’m all ears, Sebastian.”
He visibly winces when I say his whole name, and it only adds more questions about who he really is.
He chuckles once more, his brief show of vulnerability gone as his face returns to its usual cold mask.
“You really think I’m going to make it that easy for you? All you need to know right now is that you’re mine, Doukas.” His knife continues over my chin and to my throat, where he pushes that little bit harder into my skin. Not enough to cut, but enough to ensure I’m aware of just how much a predicament I could be in right now.
“Mine to do with as I please. I deserve it, after all.” His eyes drop from mine, lingering on my lips for a beat before dropping to where the point of his knife is. “I could just end it all here,” he muses, talking to himself.
I have to bite down on the inside of my lips to stop any one of the millions of questions I have. I want him to say everything he has to say of his own accord. I already know that he’ll shut down the second I demand anything of him.
His knife moves again, dragging over my collarbone with enough pressure that it stings.
His eyes flare, and I know instantly that he’s drawn blood.
As he dips his head, I have to lock down the moan of pleasure that wants to rip from my throat when his lips close over the small wound and his tongue laps at the sensitive skin.
My hips grind into the soft ground beneath me as he tastes my blood, my pussy embarrassingly wet for him.
I should be repulsed. I should be demanding he get the hell off me and as far away from me as physically possible.
Any normal girl would.
I’m sure Teagan would.
But I’m not any normal girl, and if I didn’t already know that, then this right now would be a huge fucking clue.
His lips leave my collarbone, brushing up my neck until his hot breath tickles around my ear, making a violent shiver rip through me.
“Mine,” he whispers. “And I love nothing more than ruining everything I own.”
My brain is still so lost to the fog of lust his deep warning voice causes inside me that I don’t realise he’s moved until a bite of pain adds to my desire as he catches the skin beneath my sports bra.
“Seb,” I gasp as my eyes take in what he’s doing.
The blade of his knife is beneath the fabric of my bra, poised ready to slice it from my body.
