Sometimes, having secrets keeps you safe. And sometimes it can ruin your life.

Nothing is working. We keep falling into the same patterns. The same tears. The same fights that lead us right back to the beginning.

But I want freedom.

And they swear they want it for me, too.

When I take that freedom on my own, it only leads me to a place I can’t come back from. A place where people I love get hurt.

A place where I might lose him.

A place where I want to scream yes, but know it’ll ruin everything.

So I wait.

But how much longer can I last...
