Lilly

“We should go, I have to b e on stage right about now.” Greyson says as he finishes helping me zip my dress back up.

“Yeah.” I nod, my cheeks flushed from what’s just happened.

Grabbing my hand, he unlocks the door and leads us into the empty corridor where moments before Chase and Theo were…when I was in a height of euphoria just behind the door.

For starters, did I just seriously get off from Greyson’s phone vibrating in his pocket?

Yes, I fucking did.

Did I like it?

More than I’d like to admit.

And did he also confess to falling in love with me?

Yes, he did.

I wanted to tell him that I was falling in love with him too, but I was so choked up that the words wouldn’t come out, so instead, I kissed him, and that led to the most intense orgasm ever.

“I’m gonna go to the restroom to fres hen up before I go back in there.” I tell him as we near the doors that lead into the ball room.

“I’ll come find you after, okay? I want a dance.” He leans down, pressing a kiss to my temple.

“That can be arranged.” I grin, chewing on my lip.

He chuckles, letting his hands slide from mine as he begins walking backward. “Bid on me?” He asks, tilting his head to the side.

“Nah, I don’t like you that much.” I try to hold my smile in, but I can’t, not around him. He makes it so hard not to smile when he’s around.

He smirks at me as his hand reaches the door. “I don’t believe that for a second.” And then he opens the door and walks inside, giving a backward glance to me before the door shuts behind him.

Taking a deep breath, I walk toward the restroom, thankful it’s empty when I get inside because once I look at myself in the mirror, I realize what a hot mess I am.

After cleaning myself up and making myself look semi presentable, I apply my strawberry lip gloss, smack my lips together, and exit the restroom.

Pushing the doors open, I make a beeline for the bar where I spot Nina, Callie, and Payton. The former having a bid off against a girl in a yellow dress across the room.

Greyson mentioned the other day how some of the guys suggested putting themselves up for auction to raise more money for the charity they’re donating to—helping underprivileged kids with getting new hockey gear, something Greyson had suggested to Chase do to because he knew what it was like to not have the most up to date gear.

I swear my heart melted against my che st when he told me that.

“Have fun?” Callie smirks as I approach them, twirling the straw around her drink.

“Yep.” I nod.

Way too much fun.

“I can tell, your cheeks are flushed, and even though you tried to tame your hair down, I can spot orgasm hair when I see it.” She sips her drink.

My cheeks burn as I turn toward the bar tender and order a wine, keeping my ears open as Nina continues bidding against the girl in the yellow dress.

“So, how’s it feel to finally have someone give you an orgasm?” Callie muses, chewing on her straw with a grin on her face.

“Callie.” I warn as my cheeks continue to blush.

I’m not ashamed to admit that before Greyson I’d only ever orgasmed from doing it myself, and I’m also not ashamed to admit that I’d been insanely jealous of Callie for being able to orgasm by someone…and now I know what it feels like, I understand why she goes on about it so much.

It’s a feeling I can’t quite describe, but if I had to, I’d say it’s like when you’re gearing up to sneeze. That initial tingly sensation builds up, making you almost desperate for the release. And then when you finally sneeze, it’s the best fucking feeling ever. It’s a rush of relief and satisfaction that washes over you, leaving you momentarily breathless and content.

So imagine feeling all of that with Kyle, but the sneeze never came. It was a build-up, but no big fireworks. It was like waiting for something amazing to happen, but it never did. The anticipation was there, but the payoff was missing. It left me feeling frustrated and unfulfilled, like something crucial was always just out of reach.

She chuckles. “Okay, fine. I won’t go on about it,” she playfully rolls her eyes. “But I’m happy you’ve finally met someone who can make you come—it’s the best feeling ever, right?”

It is.

“Callie—”

“Fine, fine,” she holds her hands up in surrender before leaning toward me more so only I could hear what she’s about to say next. “In all honesty, I’m happy for you.”

“Thank you, Cal.” I give a genuine smile.

“You can finally join the orgasm by someone else club!” She grins. “First Nina, and now you…honestly, I don’t know how neither of you never had a mind-blowing orgasm before.”

“Callie.” I groan, glancing around to make sure nobody could hear her.

She grins. “Okay, I’ll shut up.” She brings her hand to her lips, pretends to zip it, and throws away the key.

“One thousand dollars!” Nina shouts in front of me.

“A thousand?” I gasp, my eyes widening. “You know you’re practically dating him already, right?”

She turns, looks at me, shrugs and then says. “It’s for charity.” Before turning her attention back to the stage.

What the fuck…

She wins, of course. And then they begin announcing more of the guys. My heart hammers against my chest when Greyson’s name is called up next, and I know without a doubt, I’m winning that bid.

“Starting the bid off at fifty dollars,” Hunter announces, gesturing toward Greyson on the stage. “Anyone for fifty dollars?”

“Two hundred.” Callie shouts from beside me.

I turn to look at her, completely gob smacked, and in return she smirks at me. Right, she’s playing a game…she knows what just went down between us, and she’s doing this to annoy me. Not in a malicious way, but it has my chest tightening that people could find Greyson just as attractive as I do. And that’s not okay. He’s mine.

“Three hundred!” I raise my hand, giving a smirk toward Callie who sips at her drink unbothered.

“Four hundred.” She declares, battering her lashes at me, not even looking in the direction of the stage.

“Cal, what are you doing?” Payton hisses under her breath.

“Playing a game.” She shrugs.

“You’re so annoying.” I groan.

She chuckles, swirling the ice around in her drink. “Bid what you want, Lil,” she says with a bored shrug. “I’ll fit the bill for you.”

I eye her to see if there’s a truth behind that, and I can’t detect any lies. I know she’s got money—more than she likes to admit, so what I’m about to offer is practically pocket money to her.

“Three thousand!” I exclaim, smirking at her as I do so.

“Go higher.” She suggests.

I gasp, higher?

“But there’s nobody else bidding.” Payton looks at Callie confused.

“Five thousand.” Callie shouts, looking between Payton and me with a smirk.

“Fucking hell, Callie.” Nina’s eyes widen as she leans against the bar.

“ Higher.” Callie urges me.

I squint my eyes at her, trying to understand why she’s doing this, but before I can ask, Nina does.

“I’m bored.” Is her only response.

“You’re bored?” Payton laughs.

“Yes, P. B-o-r-e-d, bored .” She spells it out like she’s at a spelling bee.

“You’re bored so you’re willing to give money away?” I raise a brow.

“It’s for charity, not exactly like I’m just giving it away.” She deadpans.

“Five thousand to the girl in black, going once—”

“Higher, Lilly.” She urges again.

“Seven thousand!” I shout, my eyes widening when I realize the number that just came out of my mouth.

“Damn girl.” Nina lowly whistles, glancing at me.

“I’m sorry,” I wince, turning to Callie. “I’ll pay half.”

“Seven thousand to the girl in purple,” Hunter voice is surprised as he glances between Greyson and me. “Going once, going twice…” I glance at Callie to see if she’s going to bid again, but she’s engrossed in twirling the ice cubes around her glass. “Sold! To the beautiful girl in purple.”

“Okay, I’m off to the ladies’ room, then I’ll make the donation in your name afterward.” Callie announces as she downs the remainder of her drink and stands.

“Seven thousand, Callie?” Payton’s eyes are still bulging from their sockets.

She shrugs, turning to look at me. “Don’t worry about going halves,” she says, adjustin g her dress. “And Nina, don’t worry about yours, I’ll pay it when I pay Lilly’s.”

“W-what?” Nina blinks.

“Restroom is calling.” Is all she responds before walking away.

We all watch as she walks away, parting the crowd like she’s the plague before exiting through the double door.

“Is she okay?” Nina directs her question toward Payton.

Payton shrugs. “Maybe she’s just feeling generous, she did drink half the bar,” she chuckles. “Plus, she said she was bored, and Callie when bored…it can either go one way, or another.”

That’s true, and I’ve learnt not to be surprised with anything Callie does, ever. Her boredom could range from waking up at three in the morning and deciding she wants to go on an adventurous road trip because she’s bored, to her Saran wrapping our bedrooms when we’re at lectures.

“Both of your boyfriends are incoming.” Payton grins, lifting the wine glass to her lips.

And when I look behind me, I see Greyson.

My heart hammers so hard against my chest that I feel like I’m on the verge of having a heart attack.
