Harper

His Plan Is Totally Working

Aiden walks in from practice when my phone rings. I smile at him as I pick it up. He's assured me he understands my need to answer the phone pretty much whenever it rings since I’m looking to connect with agencies and clients directly.

But this isn't a client, it's Sean my contractor.

"Hi Sean, how are you?" I ask as Aiden gives me a kiss on the forehead and mouths "I'm going to shower" to me. I nod.

"I'm doing well Harper, especially because I get to tell you the final work is being done today. I just talked to the guys and they are on track to pack up and clear out by dinner time."

"Really? Wow, that is amazing. I thought you'd have another week at least."

"No, the painters brought a couple extra guys so they were done ahead of schedule and today there are touch ups and light fixtures. Do you want to stop by and check things out?"

"Yeah," I think about Aiden's schedule. There isn't a game today so he is done for the day. "Does four work?"

"Absolutely boss, we'll see you then."

"Thanks Sean."

I hang up and lean back against the sofa. I can't believe the house is done. My house.

Our house?

Aiden and I have gott en used to living together. Or at least I've gotten used to living with him. Would he want to move to my house with me?

The fact I am not spiraling with doubt is a testament to how much Aiden has built my self esteem. How he's taught me bravery in the face of the unknown. Of acknowledging my desires and going after them.

I head into the bathroom and smile at Aiden's music playing on the speaker I added to the bathroom. His back is to me and the shower walls are fogged already. Quietly I slip out of my clothes. I drop my hair clip on the counter and open the shower door.

Aiden's blue eyes widen as he turns and I slide my hands up his muscular back.

"Oh, hello," he smiles and turns to pull me under the water with him.

"Hey roomie," I can't help but giggle. "I've got a question for you."

"My answer is yes." He says with a caress of my waist. The featherlight touch sends shivers up my spine even under the steamy water.

"You don't even know the question, Aiden."

He goes into a falsetto voice, "Aiden, will you let me suck your cock?"

"Surprisingly that wasn't my question."

"But you're gonna do it because then I'm going to take that showerhead and point it at your clit while I take you from behind."

That sounds incredible. He distracts me further with a kiss and I melt into him. He pulls back a bit and instead of stopping this to ask him to move into my house with me, I lower to my knees.

"Fuck, Harper, the way your eyes are shining." He pumps himself and holds his dick out for me. I keep my eyes on him and my body warms, my blood pumps thicker through my veins, I feel my labia swell as my senses are overwhelmed by Aiden.

His salty taste on my tongue.

His musk in my nose.

His stuttered breathing as I take him to the back of my throat.

His rock hard thighs flexing under my touch.

The sight of his body fighting for control. Abs rolling, toes curling, mesmerizing eyes trained on me in front of him.

"Harper, Jesus, I'd give you anything you asked for, anything."

I hum my agreement and his hands flex at his sides.

"But I'm going to keep your mouth too busy to ever ask."

Holy shit, I feel my arousal pool at my entrance and run a hand down to rub myself and provide some relief.

One of Aiden's hands holds my head and he pumps down my throat.

"Is getting face fucked turning you on Harper?" He stares at me as I nod slowly with his thick cock between my lips. "I'm rock hard for you baby, this is all for you."

He holds my head against his stomach as he pulses and then in a flash he pops out of my mouth and lifts me. He spins me and places my hands up on the tile before pulling down the showerhead. "Spread your pretty legs, Harper."

"Oh, shit," I curse as he points the water on my already swollen clit. "Yes."

Aiden presses into me and the ability to speak anything more than grunts of pleasure or whines of desire leave me.

He might live for control but he's incredibly perceptive. He takes his pleasure but never at my expense. Aiden knows how to balance his dominance with my independence and my soul searches for his as my knees quiver and my nails scrape the wall for purchase.

Aiden grips my hip and grunts as he comes and then he slowly swirls the showerhead around my body. The hot water meets my chilled skin and tingly sensations rush through my body.

"Come here baby." He says as he pulls me to him. He kisses me and we stay in our own little universe a little longer.

He leaves me under the water to get our towels and he wraps me in luxury organic terry cloth. "You've got your goofy love eyes on," he jokes.

"That's what rolling orgasms will do to a girl." I tell him as I lean a hip against the counter.

"Then my plan is working."

"What plan is that?"

"To get you to need me as much as you want me."

A shiver racks my body. Since I was twelve I vowed to never need anybody, especially a man. Every relationship has been focused on getting them to need me. I never need them.

Except with Aiden.

I do need him.

He pushes me.

He challenges me.

He is patient with me.

I never would have renovated my place without him. Or it would have taken me several more years. Wes never pushed me hard enough on it. And none of my boyfriends even knew about my plans.

That home was my sanctuary, it was the first place that was mine, all mine.

And all I want to do is share it with Aiden.

A surprised laugh bubbles out and Aiden gives me a sly smile. "What was your question, Harper?"

"Sean called, the house is done."

"It is?" Aiden asks as he steps over and wraps me up in a hug. "Are you so excited to see it?"

"I am, I'm headed over this afternoon to check everything out."

"Can I come with you?"

I grin, "Yeah, I'd love that."

"Harp, I'm so excited to see it." Aiden tightens the hug for a breath and then he leaves the bathroom to get dressed. I hear him humming a song I can't identify and it ge ts louder as he walks back into the bathroom to hang up his towel.

I get dressed and join Aiden on the sofa. He’s chuckling as he types on his phone. I assume the group chat is active.

I take a seat and my phone rings. It’s Caroline.

“Hello?” I answer.

"Harper! We miss you!" Caroline cheers loudly and Aiden looks over at me.

"Hi Caroline, I've missed you too, I've just been so busy."

"We heard. Are you excited for your house to be done?" She asks and I wonder how she knows it’s done already. I just told Aiden a few minutes ago.

"How'd you hear about the house?"

“Johnny said Aiden texted the group and shared the news!” I look over at Aiden who is watching my conversation. “Oh, good! He sent it.” She says as my phone buzzes with a text.

Aiden’s does too and we both check them together.

It’s an evite for a housewarming party at my address. Hosted by Felix.

I look up at Aiden who shrugs with a sheepish smile on his face.

“I guess you’ll get to see the house at the party.” I say with a smile.

“Can’t wait! Oh, Ivanna isn’t going to travel for the playoffs. Danielle is going to be home with Tilly too. I’ll travel on the weekends but will be home during the week so plan to join us for the away games. We’ll watch them at my place, okay?”

“Okay.” I agree. I glance at Aiden. We haven’t talked about me traveling for playoff games with him. Until I get a job I suppose I could. But does he want me there? Honestly, I knew the season was wrapping up but I didn't realize we were in the playoffs already.

Aiden makes it so easy to live each moment with him that I don't look up from the day-to-day.

I end the call with C aroline and look at Aiden.

“Have the playoffs already started?” I ask, a little embarrassed that I don’t know.

“No, we’ve got eight more regular season games but we’re close to clinching the top spot in the conference.”

“Okay. And, do you want me to travel with you for the games?”

“Probably not.” He says. “I’ll be too distracted by you.” He climbs over me and I fall back into the cushions. “Now, let’s go see the house.”

When we pull up half an hour later, Felix and Emmett are standing on the stoop talking to Sean.

"Harper! We're so excited to see the new house."

"We?"

"I did not invite them, I want that to be clear," Aiden says as he wraps his arm around my shoulders and kisses the side of my head.

"How about we FaceTime you and give you a tour?" I suggest instead.

"E.T. you can come to my house. I'll tell the boys to meet us there." Felix says as he pulls out his phone.

Aiden and I share a laugh as they give us hugs and leave. I get one last moment alone with my brain. Giving it one more chance to question itself.

Do I really want to ask Aiden to live with me?

Yes Harper, you really do.

But what if he says no?

Then you ask him why, you try to understand. And don't forget he asked you to move in with him three months ago.

That thought is the one that gives me the confidence to jump right in as soon as Aiden turns back to me

"Will you live with me?" I blurt.

"I already live with you," he says with a smile as he starts the car.

"No, not at your place. Will you move into the house with me?"

Aiden turns towards me slowly. "Are you serious?"

"Yeah, I think so. "

"You're sure?"

"I get less sure each time you question me."

He smiles, he's been teasing me.

"Yes Harper, I'd love to move into your house with you."

"Our house," I correct him. "I never would have started the renovations without you and I don't want to go back to a time where I didn't get to see you every morning. Or smell you on the pillows when you're away for a game."

He reaches out and runs his thumb along my cheek. "I love you, roomie."

I take a deep breath because I’m still not used to saying this. "I love you, too."
