“You are the true daughter of the ArchAngel Ariel and Lucifer. A long time ago, when humanity was first created, Ariel and Lucifer fell in love. You know the story of how Lucifer didn’t always used to be bad, right?
Well, he was God’s top angel at the beginning of it all.
He was practically God’s right hand man.
And in the early days, before more angels were created, mostly there were just the ArchAngels, and a few others.
Ariel and Lucifer were together for centuries before God decided to create humanity.
At first, he was loyal, compassionate, and trusted by all.
This is what Ariel fell in love with. But over time, his vanity and pride slowly began to skew his judgment.
When God declared to the angels he would create humans, and that angels would serve and protect humanity, Lucifer disagreed.
To him, a superior being serving a “lesser” race was not what he had in mind for his eternity.
This of course is where we know he tried to take over and was cast out of Heaven.
But, when he was banished to Hell, he didn’t know that Ariel had fallen pregnant; and she never revealed this information to him, or anyone else for that matter.
Ariel is the first angel to ever become pregnant, as it was always assumed, we couldn’t.
Instead of giving birth to you as an angel…
or as a demon; seeing as there was a chance you could be either, she preserved your soul energy and kept it in the spirit realm.
She taught you things of life, of the Universe.
You studied with her when she would come to visit you, all the while keeping you a secret from everyone by refusing to let you incarnate into either angel, demon, or human life.
She believed she was protecting you from the other angels and Lucifer as well, as she knows the angels would never be able to trust your existence, and Lucifer might have tried to take you for himself… ”
Lorelei couldn’t speak when Daemon paused. He looked at her with worry in his eyes, but continued on.
“Remember how I told you there has always seemed to be sympathizers amongst the angels for humanity to live on? Well, Ariel is one of a small, secretive group of those angels. She believed that humanity should never have to be sacrificed for the sake of Heaven and Hell’s war.
Like Metatron said. She also had grown fond of humans, believing them to be good and full of bright and beautiful ideas.
When recent talks of Armageddon coming sooner than expected arose, she in secret, transferred your soul; which had been living life for countless centuries since almost the beginning of creation, and finally allowed you to materialize in a life.
A human life. And that is why you only have a single life to recount and access.
When the prophecy was foretold right before your birth, none of the ArchAngels took it seriously.
There was no possibility for an angel to produce a child. ”
Lorelei swallowed, but it became a thick lump in her throat as she spoke.
“What did the prophecy say?”
Daemon rubbed hand on the back of his neck, sighing, and repeated the words Lorelei dreaded to hear.
“For all the world, the Other must burn
Innocence beyond compare, no lifetimes earned.
A child becoming of Angel-born
Ever-changing future sworn.
The child shall seeketh the truth unknown
A weighted burden in Kingdom Come.
Realms at war in bloodshed and strife
This child destined Reclaimer or Undoer of all Life.
The Human Element, the Universe proclaims
A beacon of hope if the world remains.”
What does it mean, the Human Element?
Lorelei’s brain was scrambled. This was the prophecy thrusted upon her; one she never wanted or believed to be possible. She couldn’t pinpoint one thought from another. But she managed to ask the one question she needed to know: why she was chosen to save humanity.
“Who spoke the prophecy?? Why me? If I have no past experience, if I was merely a soul for forever and never lived before, how could I possibly be the person to save humanity from the end of it all? Do you understand at all what it means, “The Human Element?””
Daemon’s eyes dropped and he shook his head.
“I don’t know either of those answers. It doesn’t note who spoke the prophecy and there wasn’t any information on why you were chosen nor how to stop Armaggeddon. And no…I can only guess it’s just stating you’re human born to angels. Other than that, no..it doesn’t make much sense.”
So, there it was. They still had no answers on what to do next. They still had no idea how to stop the war or save humanity. They were still in the same situation, with no way out.
And now, everything she ever thought about herself, broke in an instant. Everything she thought of her parents, her life, her upbringing, felt like one of those movies where the character starts confusing reality from fiction.
Which was the fiction and which was the reality?
Not to mention, not only was her true mother an angel, her father was the bearer of all evil in this world. He was the ultimate sinner, the ruler of the damned.
Lorelei tasted something bitter and putrid in her mouth at the thought.
Of all things they came here to find out, none of this was at all what she anticipated.
And she felt empty inside; like she no longer knew who she truly was.
But all at once, she experienced this sense of knowing in a way that made her feel a weight off her shoulders, as if she found the missing puzzle piece of the story of her life, the piece that she felt was always missing or unexplainable before, now was back in place.
But knowledge is a burden. Once you know something, you can never unknow it.
