"Lily has class, and she's kind. Those are attributes you will never have, and the way I see it, you no longer have a chance to try and change your ways."
I glance back down at my pauper to see her shaking her head.
"No, she doesn't," Lily states. "Carmen has caused enough heartache; I won't allow her to hurt anybody else. Jackson, go have the other two prisoners brought in here, please."
Jackson does as Lily asks. I should ask what she plans to do, but I will trust her. After all, I trust her with everything else.
When Jackson, with the help of Frankie, comes back with Dog and the other guy who worked for Carmen, I lift my brow at Lily as if to ask, "What's next?"
"Pull out your guns," Lily grins as she looks between me and Jackson.
We follow her instructions and pull them out.
"Keep them on the men," she orders, then turns to me. "Which one is Dog?"
Lily knows about Dog because I told her about my time spent there and how much I hated this fuck face. When I nod at the bastard, Lily beckons him forward.
"Do you see that knife on the table?" she points to the small table with a tray on top of it. A bunch of implements, including a sharp hunting knife, are sitting on top of the tray.
Dog nods.
"Good. Jarek and Jackson will keep their guns on you, so don't try anything funny. I want you to go to the table, pick up the knife, and stand behind your boss." Lily crosses her arms as she waits for the guy to move.
Hehesitates.
"What's the matter? Do you have feelings for her?" my pauper asks, screwing up her face in disgust.
"You have no idea what kind of woman Carmen is…"
"I no longer care either," Lily states with no emotion. "Now, go."
Dog finally moves and picks up the knife before standing behind Carmen. I can see the fear starting to take shape on the bitch's face, and it makes me happy to know that my girl is putting that fear inside her.
"Use the knife and cut off all her hair," Lily orders.
I glance at my girl, wondering what the hell she's up to. This isn't middle school. We gut people with knives, not cut off their hair, but I remain silent and wait to see where she's going with this.
Lily has Dog scrape Carmen's head until she's completely bald, not caring that the knife keeps nicking Carmen's scalp. When Dog is finished, Lily snaps a picture.
"This will be the one we use for your obituary. This is the Carmen everyone is going to see for the very last time," pauper states and shows Carmen the picture.
"Why, you little bitch!" Carmen struggles with her restraints, but it's no use.
"Dog, carve up Carmen's face. Make the cuts really deep," Lily commands next.
The fucker hesitates again, and I cock my gun as I point it toward the center of his head. "Fucking do as you're told," I snarl.
As Dog fixes his angry stare on me, he brings the knife up to Carmen's face and starts slicing through her cheeks, forehead, chin, and lips. Carmen's screams echo through the basement as blood begins pouring out of her wounds.
"Enough!" Lily calls out, and Dog stops carving, never taking his eyes off me. "Drop the knife and come over here."
Dog does as he's told and comes back to stand where he was when he was brought in. When he turns to face Carmen again, he begins to gag. He did a pretty good job of carving her up. He somehow popped her eyeball out, and it now dangles by the ligaments and tendons.
"What's the matter, Dog? Do you still want to fuck her? Should we give the two of you time for one last romp?" Lily asks, smirking.
Dog shakes his head vigorously.
"Please, just kill me already!" Carmen begs.
