Page 3 of TAINTED by TWINS

A collage reference for the twins is at the end of the chapter!

It took several months for me to study and past my licensure exam. Now officially a teacher, I'm ready to serve four years in the school I owe it to.

I faced the bathroom mirror at 6am to remove my moisturizing witch hazel overnight face mask that hydrated my skin during the night.

I used the remnants of it on my neck, before brushing my teeth with purple toothpaste.

I removed the curling rolls from my hair to oil it up before showering.

I used a Gua sha to de puff my face before applying my serum and moisturizer.

My entire routine and water-diet helped remove my fungal acne.

It doesn't matter that pale is not a beauty standard in this country, but I'm not tanning to age early.

I'm slathering tinted sunscreen to avoid it. My acne faded and surprisingly didn't scar because of the retinoids, but I still couldn't get rid of my dark circles so I experimented on make up to cover them up. I'm putting on concealer, and doing my brows.

I finished after an hour, driving to school with the car I bought with my photography job.

"... who's that?"

"Is he a new student?"

"O-M-G! Please tell me he's in my class!"

"So pretty... girl, does he even like girls?"

I start to look down shyly. Ever since Ive graduated, I've been hyper fixated in skincare which lead to my improvement in appearance. Sheesh, my college self wasn't my best era but then again, who has college as their best looking era?

Skincare lead to me discovering eyeliner.

Then eyeshadow, then blush, then lips, then glitter, then styles specifically for my Asian features.

I find myself smiling remembering the first time I was told I looked like a girl.

Even though I wasn't trans or anything, it made me feel nice. Girls are pretty, and being told I'm pretty like them made me feel very warm inside.

You should've seen the first time I wore a wig. God, looking like a girl made me feel pretty.

But now, I'm a male teacher. So I did light Chinese make up with no glitter, still bold enough for people to stare at me. Maybe it's the new hair too? I cut and dyed it for a new look, then slightly curled for volume. I hope I don't look stupid coming into my first class of 3rd year students.

I gave them a big smile, "Good morning everyone, I'm—"

"Oh shiii, Mrs. Garcia's not here shawty!" Someone yelled out as everyone paid attention to me. "What's up, boo? You new here?"

"Uhm...?" I wasn't sure when to speak because they were whispering (loudly, what's the point) to each other.

"Uhm, I think that's a guy."

"Too pretty to be a dude, smash."

"Nope, he's a guy."

"So? Double smash."

I smiled awkwardly. "Everyone I know Mrs Garcia is on pregnancy leave, but I'm—"

The door opened abruptly, and in came 3rd year students I didn't expect to be in my class. My eyes widen and my heart dropped.

"Oh nice, Mrs Garcia isn't here... I can get high and sleep..." says the dark-haired Deveroux twin with eyeliner and a band shirt with a noose, leather pants, and holding a black helmet with his arms. He casually walks over and pushes over a kid sitting on the seat he wants in the back.

Meanwhile, the other Deveroux twin tilted his blonde curly head at me, who he didn't expect to be in their class.

Crap, I didn't expect them to be in this class! I'm dead.

.

.

I slapped Jonah and rejected him publicly months ago, and now he won't stop looking at me! I cleared my throat, "Sir, take a seat. Class is about to start, and I'm here in place of Mrs. Garcia who is on a pregnancy leave. Everyone, I'm your new teacher, Mr Miller. Let's have fun this year."

"So you're the new teacher," Jonah lifted his head up with a charming smile and walked to his seat in the front, but not sitting on it. Instead, he offers me his hand. "I'm Jonah Deveroux, class president. I was elected on the first day of school when Mrs Garcia was still here. Sorry for being late... Mr. Miller. Jade had to beat up someone for taking our parking spot."

Does he not recognize me? I accepted his polite hand.

"That's..." I feel uncomfortable, but hes smiling warmly at me like I didn't slap him a year ago. "... that's really not allowed. Beating up students, I mean."

"Jade can beat this p*ssy up!" / "Amanda, shh!"

"Don't worry, Sir..." Jonah smiled at me with his blue eyes flooding my senses. "As Class President, I've handled Jade's violent tendencies. You don't need to worry your pretty little head about anything."

Goosebumps went up my spine as I know for a fact Jonah probably watched it happen. He's not fooling anyone with that popular act, these twins are trouble. If the elevator doors didn't open, Jonah would've forced me to—

"Excuse me, sir?" A blonde girl raised her hand, giggling. "Can we ask how old you are?"

I nervously answer, "I'm 23."

"Owshiiii, kow-nichi-waur shawty owni-sama?" The class laughed at that one flirty dude while I just awkwardly smiled because I'm not even Japanese.

Out of everyone laughing, only two students seemed to be silent in the entire class. Jade who has his feet on his table, and Jonah with his head tilted.

"Settle down now. Let's open our syllabuses and have a summary of this year's lessons, alright? That way, you guys have an idea of what we're—"

"Everyone quiet!" Jonah yells to the noisy boys in the back, to which I gave him a grateful smile. He then looks at me saying, "Sorry about my classmates, Mr Miller. Keep looking cute, and we'll keep being distracted."

His seatmates push him jokingly for the charisma, but I'm standing here with a twitching eye because of the cringe.

"Like I said," I catch their attention, "Let's keep things appropriate. Let's open the syllabuses. Jade, please get your feet off the table."

"Suck my dick first," Jade spat out, and the entire class laughed again. All except for Jonah, who only has eyes for me.

"Go Jade..."

"Mmm, I want him to suck mine."

"Hahahahahaha..."

Will they really not do what I say? I didn't struggle for four years just to be clowned on by them. I've had enough of these twins.

"Maybe you'll behave even if I suck it in the janitor's closet later this afternoon, Mr. Deveroux." I slapped the papers on the table as I lean against it.

Jade's smirk suddenly dropped. "But I doubt you'll even let me in there because you prefer female freshmen whose standards are lower than their knees in that closet, and tits with a cup size bigger than their IQ. I don't qualify... don't I?"

"Oh shit!" They yelled. Jade Deveroux has been caught several times hooking up in that janitor closet. Everyone knows, but the teachers tend to pretend it didn't even happen, so me admitting it upfront sent the class into chaos.

"Y'all, this teacher..."

"Stanned~"

"Shot's fired and it went straight to my heart, Sir."

"Oooooh, Jonah?!" That previous line wasn't a student I have yet to know. Jonah Deveroux sat there laid back with his hands forming a corny heart over his chest, and I could only look away to avoid cursing him with my eyes.

The class made so much noise as Jade only glared at me. I slapped the syllabus hard against the table to silence them, before turning around to write a list of their projects on the board.

"This year, we'll be creating Chapters 1-3, then the rest of your final year we'll work on 4-5. The research topic you're gonna work on this year will be the one you'll finish last year." I am taking my job very seriously because I can't afford to ruin a good reference and resume point. I faced them, "It's on you to take this seriously, because without your Chapters 1-5 being approved, you can't move on to the creation of your thesis and therefore can't graduate."

"Don't worry, Sir..." says the handsome f*ck in the front with a big smile, "We are very serious about you."

"What is it now, sweetheart?" The doctor nonchalantly asked from his office, filling out paperwork.

"I didn't know the Deveroux twins were in my class! I feel so awkward, I can't focus!" I frustratingly yelled at the couch. I moved my head to look at Dr. Wayne. "Chris, do you think the twins didn't recognize me? I don't think Jonah recognized me..."

"With how you look now, I doubt it." The doctor finally looked at me. "You're not the person you once was. You've gotten stronger... tougher."

"Chris..." I sighed. "I don't feel like I grew up at all. I still feel like an awkward nerd who learned to put on make up. But my new face is the same old bangs I covered my eyes with."

"What did I say about talking like that, sweetheart?" Dr Wayne looks at me with strict eyes.

"You're about to be a very successful teacher who will buy your mom a house and send her on enough travels to make her forget about alcohol. You are more than just a face. You're a tough person with a beautiful face."

"Awww," I went over to him and disturbed the working man by sitting on his lap. "I'm sorry for saying it again. I know you don't like it..."

"I don't like you being scared of the twins, either..." Dr Wayne sighed, "Jade is a rascal. Jonah is deceivingly charming... but you're in charge of them in the classroom. So you shouldn't fear them."

"I'm not afraid of them... I got a knight in shining lab coat right here!"

I kiss him on the lips, and he dropped his pen to focus on kissing me. We have thirty minutes... and it started when he lifted me up and placed me on his desk, papers flying out.

"Hi sir, had a good lunch?" Someone asked.

"Why yes, Mr—"

"You can have me as dessert, Mr. Miller!" That guy yelled out, earning a laugh from everyone. I stood there a bit awkwardly, about to say something, but someone else already did.

"I've seen your essay, Landon. You can't even spell dessert, and you think you can remove your diapers and feed your baby d*ck to our cute teacher? I think not," a male with dyed pink hair says, making everyone holler and laugh even louder.

I don't think I've seen this boy before; he's sitting in the back and has bright pink hair, I should've seen him earlier.

"Sasha come on..." that guy says as the pink haired boy smiled proudly at me.

"Ignore them. It's not everyday we get a teacher that looks like you..." he sees me looking at him confused, so he says, "My name is Sasha Petrovna. I was absent earlier, sorry about that. I could imagine what my classmates have been telling you all morning if they're this savage right now. Must be horrible."

I agreed, "It's inappropriate, but I think they're not serious about it. Aren't you, class?"

"Yes sir—"

"Yep, we're joking..."

"Not me..."

"See, some you guys aren't so bad..." I look at them with a smile, before I hear someone choking. "Why were you absent earlier, Sasha?"

"Probably blowing Dr. Wayne in the clinic," one girl answered. My face dropped as they laugh.

Sasha gasped and slapped her. "You snitch, Samantha!

"Yeah, you wish, Sasha." / "As if, Sasha."

Sasha faced me, laughing. "They're playing, Mr. Miller. Just because I crushed on Dr. Wayne doesn't mean I'll actually pursue him. He's as old as the guy who pursued me when I was 14. Totally disgusting. Don't you think so?"

"Oh... oh, yes I agree..." I faked a laugh. He's very feminine, and not shy about it. "Why don't you guys get started on—"

"Starting without us?" Says someone from the doorway, a charming young school prince with his blonde hair all curled and free. While his dark haired twin beside him is just staring at me with smoked up blue eyes while carrying a helmet.

"Late again, Mr. Deveroux? Please take your seats..." I strictly tell them.

"Cotton candy's in my seat," Jade points to Sasha who blew him a sarcastic kiss. "Get off, clownshow."

"This isn't your seat, Jade. We're seated in alphabetical order, you have to sit beside your more handsome big brother," Sasha then winks at Jonah.

"I'm—!" Jade points his helmet towards Sasha, "—the eldest. Don't make me dismember you to see if you bleed pink, you pepto-bismol motherf—"

"Jade..." Jonah gently lowers his brother's arm. "Whoever comes first, gets the seat. Isn't that right, Mr. Miller?"

He's smiling at me in a way that made everyone fawn for him. "Yes, Jade... why don't you sit with Jonah?"

Jade rolls his eyes and walks past me to the chair, only to purposely bump into me and knock down my lesson plans. Jonah, ever the people-pleaser, bent to help me with my papers. I panicked, "I'll handle them!"

"No, no it's fine. I'm sorry about Jade, Mr Miller. He can be a bit difficult... at times..." the tone of his voice fades as he stares at one of my files, suddenly tilting his head. I immediately snatch it away from him.

"Thank you. But I'm gonna need you to take your seat, Mr Deveroux." Without taking his emotionless eyes away from me, he sat down."Can I ask why you're late, Mr Deveroux? Parking problems again?"

Sasha blurted out, "They're probably Eiffel towering a girl in the men's restroom. Most likely."

"Oooh, me next!"

"Do me, Jade!"

"I have four holes..."

Jade looked back at Sasha with a sly smirk, while Jonah scoffed dismissively.

"That's untrue," says Jonah. "Because as much as I love the pretty girls in this school, they're not my type."

"Who's your type, Jonah!"

"I have money for surgery, Jonah..."

"Who is it?"

Jonah leans against his table with a little wiggle of his shoulders and says, "My type is someone who really knows how to pack a punch."

I took a deep breath as we both kept our eyes on each other. Everyone's eyes were on me, but not as intense as Jonah's right now. I have a very... very bad feeling in my gut.
