Page 16 of TAINTED by TWINS
What have I done, surrendering myself to them?
Why am I here in on their sofa, breakfast plates in front of us but Jonah is eating me?
I held his hand and moaned out my climax after he sucked me like I was a rare dessert.
He smiled at me with an empty mouth after swallowing all of it, those blue eyes looking down on me like we're on a honeymoon.
I was still frozen in shock, as if my body was not my own. He reached for my chest and runs a hand up my collarbone, "Forgive me, darling. Even if I regret nothing. You're just so irresistible, so adorable."
"Jonah..." I gasp, "I can't just do this with you—"
"Where was this when I had my hands on you, hmm?" He smiles at me like there's nothing wrong with what's happening.
Like I'm not his teacher, like I'm not his uncle's lover. "Admit it, darling. You can't resist as well. You liked me, and now you like my brother. Deep inside... you want us in here..." he runs a finger down my abdomen, and I burned up.
"No—" Knock, knock!
Jonah's face shifts as he looks at the door, while I'm here trying to clean myself up after he ravaged me while still in my clothes. "What is it now?"
"The mistress Velomina has requested to speak with Master Jonah," came a polite elderly voice from the door.
"Fine, I'll be right there..." Jonah seemed less than pleased. But he knelt down to give me a kiss on the neck. "Jade is in his bedroom, you can have fun with him there, okay? I'll be back..."
Jonah fixed his shirt and his sleeve cuffs before exiting the room. When he did, three maids came in without ever looking into my eyes, just to retrieve the plates on the table. I recognized one of them, and immediately ran to her while clutching my shirt close.
"You! Sorry... madam..." I held her back, and she looked at me terrified. "Ma'am, do you remember me? You spoke to me, you warned me about the twins' mother. I wanted to tell you... I know why now. You knew my mother, right?"
She was short, tan, elderly with grey hairs highlighter her natural browns. A classic beauty with soft eyes and gentle hands. She nods at the other maids so they'll leave. I also noticed the worried expression on her face.
"I could not forget your face, hijo... so beautiful, so handsome... Un rostro tan bello que podría lanzar mil barcos al mar, oh dios..." she reached out but hesitated to touch my face. To make her less afraid of me, I held her hand to put it against my cheek.
I sincerely asked her, "Do you know who my father is, madam? I heard it's one of the servants... you'd have to know."
She widens her eyes, looking at the door as if scared of any ears. "My dear... I cannot tell you. It is for your own good."
"Why?"
"You being innocent..." she held my shoulders as if I was a son to her, "... is the only thing keeping you alive. You are not safe here, hijo. You are not safe with them—"
"Mama Selda?" A loud, deep voice came from above the stairs where Jade stood, freshly showered with his spider tattoo on full display. He looked at us very suspiciously.
"Jade, my son! Haha..." she laughed as if she didn't look terrified a few seconds ago. "Forgive me, I was just admiring such handsome young man. He reminds me of a guapa I know back in the day. T-take care of him, okay hijo? He is very precious... I couldn't imagine something happening to him."
Jade seemed so soften up. "Don't worry, Mama. He's safe with us."
She hurriedly left with a worried expression, and I tried to hold her hand back but she slipped away. That woman knew who my father is, but she's refusing to tell me.
"I'm sorry about her," Jade says, coming down to get a drink of the abomination from that glass dispenser. "Mama Selda raised us since infants. She's the longest working employee here, so she tends to be curious about who we bring home."
"You bring home other people?"
"No, that's why she's curious about you," Jade smirked.
"Jade..." I call out to him, walking to the counter where I touched the marble top. "Do you know who my father is?"
"I don't know anyone here aside from her, my twin, and that plucked parrot with pearls." Stood in front of me while I can't get my eyes on that spider tattoo. "You don't need to know who he is, Lian. You are fine as you are. Why search for someone who has no contribution to your life?"
I look away. "You don't understand, Jade. It's like something's missing, incomplete. You don't know what it's like to feel lost in the mirror when you don't even know where your face comes from."
"I look at Jonah all the time, and I hate it. Trust me, you do not need to know where your face came from."
I sighed, "Don't you know I don't look like my mother? I have to live with an unfamiliar face, do you even know how that feels?!"
He doesn't. The twins look exactly like their mother, a carbon copy of her high cheekbones and strong nose. Then they have each other. I felt frustrated. I held my head, refusing to get emotional even if I'm high on it.
Jade was silent in front of me, until he took my hand with his cold, freshly showered ones. He runs his fingers over my knuckles as if tracing it.
"If something is missing..." he lifts my hand to kiss the back of it, closing his eyes as if taking in my scent. "Why don't we try completing you? Or have you already done that... substituting men for your absent father? Desperate for Christian Wayne's approval?"
Flashes of my relationship in the past came flooding into my brain. How I ended up meeting him for the first time because of a wrist injury—I was being bullied. Then, a twisted ankle. Then, a bruised arm. Until I kept going inside the clinic even with no injuries.
Chris was warm; he welcomed me, we hung out in silence, we chatted about nerdy things we have in common. He was there when I felt confused about my sexuality; he was there when my eyes lingered too much on Jonah Deveroux's stolen photo.
"I'm here... you don't have to be alone," he whispered to me after I attempted self harm because of my sexuality.
I wasn't angry about being gay; I was scared of disappointing my mother since I'm the only child.
If I can't give her a family, what good am I? "I think your mother would rather have a gay son than a dead one."
I hugged him that day, feeling complete and contented that I finally had someone to listen to me. I have always been my mother's protector, but who's gonna take care of me? For years, he was exactly that: my guardian angel... my protector. I didn't want to lose him.
"I'm here, Lian..." both Chris and Jade says to me, only one of them being in my head. "You don't need to feel incomplete."
Jade pulls my head up for a kiss, which didn't go through because the door opened to Jonah tilting his head at us. "Aww, what a wonderful sight."
"J-Jonah..." I shyly look away as Jade went to the bar as if nothing happened.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your affair, darling. But my mother would like to see you."
Jade dropped his glass and it shattered on the floor. What? I stammered, "What?"
"What?!" Jade scowled at Jonah. "What does the wicked witch of the bathtub want anything with Lian?! No way, Jonah."
"She just wants to talk to him; don't worry, Jade. He'll come out alive. I made sure of it." Jonah softly took my hand and guided me out of the room. I looked back at Jade and almost reached out to him, begging to keep me away from the woman who possibly wants me dead.
Jade, help! "What does she want with me, Jonah?!"
"She's not that bad, Lian. She just wants to talk to you...."
"But she knows I'm my mother's son. Jonah—"
"Don't make this anymore difficult for me, darling. I'm making it easier for you..." Jonah brought me to her; with a hand around my waist, he opened a large double door to push me inside. "Be nice to her, darling."
Jonah didn't stay with him. Per his mother's orders, he left the room. And when he came back to their bedroom, a fully dressed Jade was already ready to rescue Lian from his witch of a matriarch. "You left him alone?! F*ck, Jonah she could kill him!"
Jonah grabbed Jade before he can exit and threw him on the floor before gently closing the door.
"She promised she won't hurt him," Jonah calmly says.
"She will KILL HIM, Jonah!" Jade got up, but Jonah broke character and slams him against the door with one arm.
"I'd rather leave Lian alone with her than with you..." Jonah spits with gritted teeth, eyes as dark as it's filled with flames. His voice dwindles into a teasing whisper, "Did you enjoy it, Jade? Do you plan on f*cking him in all kinds of positions in the future? I recommend doggy so he won't have to see your two faces!"
"What?! Lian is all yours Jonah, I have no intentions of staying in his life!"
"Yeah, because making him feel complete represents that intention perfectly," Jonah muttered.
Jade pushed him away, "I was trying to comfort him, take his mind off his father—or else he would've dug deeper!"
"WE ARE TWINS, JADE!" Jonah slams his fist against the wall, ignoring the pain in his fist. He paced around the room angrily, "We have the same eyes NO LIE could hide behind! You lied to me when you said you wouldn't steal him away!"
Jade couldn't make a sound. He loses either way. Jonah stood up and walked towards him, the glass further breaking under his shoes. "Now you're not looking at me. You're overridden with the guilt of wanting Lian for yourself. Am I right, Jade? Of course, I'm always right. I'm right about you wanting to steal him away from me!"
"You're insane," Jade mutters. "You're threatened, Jonah. You couldn't f*ck him without me, because you know he'll choose me. I treat him better than you and Chris, and the fact that he'll choose me is driving you insane!"
Jonah grabbed his twin's shirt and slams him against the wall with the intention of giving him a concussion. "I was already driven insane the moment you looked into my eyes and lied to me about your feelings for Lian! I saw nothing but lies in your eyes because he's all that's in your heart. I'm driven insane by the fact that my own flesh and blood betrayed me!"
There were angry tears in Jonah's eyes, the charming prince disappearing into what looked to be a beast in anger. "He was mine, Jade. I wanted him first—you wanted nothing to do with him! He was scum to you while he is everything to me! Have I not given you everything?!"
Jade grabbed Jonah's shirt and punched him square in the face . His eyes transparent, no longer bearing lies. "Lian is not something to be given! I have no right to give him to you, Jonah. I even helped you, I watched you f*ck him when you knew I love him. You've always known... and yet you are punishing me by giving me a taste of what I couldn't have."
"That's right," Jonah smiled with a bleeding mouth after cutting his cheeks; he is laugh, not in happiness, but in anger. He pushed himself up and tackled Jade to the ground as if they were two little boys fighting over which one gets the last slice of cake. "I wanted to punish you for your lies and pursuing of my precious rose! I made it clear that he's mine and you're just a tool to help me get him! But you pursued him yourself!"
"I'm not pursuing him, I'm protecting him!" Jade didn't fight back as Jonah punched his jaw. "I am your twin, but you're also mine, Jonah. I know for a fact you'd just cage him and I can't let you do that—"
Jonah saw red and slams Jade's head on the ground. "Cage him?! He's the only one that made me feel alive and you think I'd let him rot?! You who f*cked so many girls, and I whose heart only loved Cathy and now Lian—and you think you're better than me?!"
"It is because you only loved rarely, that I knew you weren't gonna let him go!" Jade grabbed Jonah and spun both of them around so the blonde ends up on the ground. "We're going too far, Jonah! He doesn't deserve to be punished for what his mother did!"
Jonah stayed on the floor, his twin straddling his stomach to keep him down. He takes his head into his hands as he suddenly laughed in amusement. "Haha... hahahahaha... hahaha!"
Jade got off of him, limping away because he twisted an ankle when Jonah tackled him. The blonde was genuinely laughing while holding his head, his hair covering his face. Then he swept up his blonde hair to look at Jade with teary eyes.
"Isn't this familiar, Jade?" He laughs, "The son of the woman who ruined our family... comes between us to ruin us as well. Have you forgotten the real reason I wanted him?"
"You wanted revenge, but this isn't about that anymore," Jade says. "You wanted him for yourself. Then and now, it has never been about revenge! YOU betrayed our mother first!"
"You don't understand, Jade... because of him, I finally knew what our Mother was feeling... what love felt like to her," Jonah couldn't get his mind off that innocent photographer years ago. "It's the best feeling in the world..."
"It's not love, it's obsession."
"Which is the highest form of love," Jonah proudly says.
"So why did you give him to our mother? WHY, Jonah? If you loved him, why would you sell him to her!" Jade yells out. Then he looks at Jonah in disgust, "I'm gonna go get him. And if that shipwrecked drag queen did anything to him, consider yourself an only child."
