Page 55 of Scarred in Silence
My little Siren stumbles out of a hotel room with one of her friends, Harmony. She leans on her for support. She has had too much fun tonight, but little does she know, I’ve been following her the whole time.
She thinks I sleep around with everyone the minute we aren’t together, but that’s not entirely true. I spend half of my time watching her. Studying her. She’s interesting.
The other women are an alright fuck, but Astra? She is the whole fucking package. Her beautiful, long blonde hair and her gorgeous eyes are haunting.
If I had the chance to orchestrate her entire life, I would do it. She needs constant supervision. She’s a bit flighty, and I need her to stay. I need her.
I watch her as she makes her way to her car, trying to get herself into her driver’s seat. I get out of my car and jog over to her.
“Don’t think that’s a good idea,” I say to her.
She smiles up at me lazily.
“You came,” she praises me.
“Of course. I would never let you do something so fucking stupid. Get out of the car.”
She slowly stands, leaning into me.
“I love you,” she says with a drunken smile.
I plant a kiss on top of her head and stroke her hair.
“I love you, too.”
I escort her to my car, settling her into the passenger seat. Then I get in the driver’s seat.
“You will always save me,” she whispers to herself, and she rests her head against the window, passing out.
I will always save my little Siren.

The voice on the other side of the phone has me seeing red. WHAT THE FUCK!
I slam my fist into the concrete repeatedly. Splintering my already fucked up knuckles. Victor has my little Siren. I will kill him. There is no doubt about it.
“Dude, stop punching the fucking wall like a psycho and go get her.”
I clench my jaw at Dante’s words.
“Yeah, you should go,” Ronan chimes in.
Fuck them.
I grab my phone, keeping the call on. Why isn’t she talking to me? What the fuck happened to her?
I rush to my car and curl my fingers around my steering wheel tightly, squeezing as if it were Victor’s fucking neck. Dante sits next to me, ready to take him down.
I speed in my car, tracking the pinged location on my phone. I know where the fucker lives.
I arrive at the driveway and nearly crash as I whip my car up the bend. I park my car and sprint into the house.
“Astra!” I call out. Nothing.
“Astra, where the fuck are you!”
