“For like, fifteen minutes. You two went all fucking night.”
I don’t need to look over to know that both Bri and Nico have probably got smug-as-fuck grins on their faces.
“You could have done the same, man. Didn’t you have the stamina?”
Silence cuts through the room.
“Yeah, or I could have let her sleep and give her half a chance of being able to deal with the shit that’s going on in her life right now,” Toby says, ignoring Nico’s jibe.
More silence falls as I melt into a puddle once more for this unbelievable guy.
“How much has she told you?” Bri enquires.
“Enough to know she’s drowning. Enough to know that I want to help.”
“Ow,” Nico complains.
“Why can’t you be as sweet and caring as your best friend?” Bri snaps.
One of the guys—I’m assuming Nico—snorts. “You weren’t complaining about it all that much last night. Good guys don’t fuck like I do, Siren.”
“Uh… I’ve seen Toby at work. I can assure you, they do.”
“What are you suggesting?” Nico grunts. “You wanna switch sides? Sure, he can put on a good show. If you really want the—”
“Morning,” I sigh, cutting off whatever bullshit he was going to spew next.
Wrapping the blanket around my body as I sit up, I look over at all of them drinking coffee around the breakfast bar. I have to do a double-take, because it’s such a weirdly domesticated sight.
Bri never, and I mean never, does the next morning thing with guys. She’s a fuck ’em and chuck ’em kind of girl. The only guy she’s had repeats with in the past few years is Brad, and apparently, that’s only because he has a magical diamond-encrusted cock or something. It’s certainly not because she sees herself in a white dress and walking toward him in a church. I know that for a fact. So the fact that Nico is still here speaks volumes about either his personality or his bedroom abilities.Based on the limited time I’ve spent with him, I’d guess the latter.
“This is very… civilised.”
“Aren’t we always?” Bri asks, getting off Nico’s lap and walking toward the coffee machine.
I step closer, not hating at all that both Toby and Nico are both sitting there in only their underwear. I’ve certainly woken to worse sights over the years.
“Come here,” Toby says, holding his arm out.
“I’m just gonna—” I point toward the bathroom, more than aware that I need to freshen up before getting too close to him.
I manage two steps before he reaches out and drags me down on his lap.
His eyes catch mine for the briefest moment before our lips collide. I fight him when he tries to push his tongue into my mouth, but I lose the battle when he manages to slip a hand inside the blanket and pinches my nipple.
I gasp, my lips parting and giving him the access he craves while I internally cringe at the state of my morning breath.
“It’s funny you think I care,” he mutters against my lips when he finally lets me up for air.
I wiggle against him, feeling his cock growing beneath me.
“Go. Unless you want more than a good morning kiss.”
“Don’t let us stop you,” Nico adds. “I’m good for another round. See,” he says, pulling Bri over and dragging her hand beneath the counter.
“Animal,” she hisses.
“You fucking love it, Siren.”
