“You told me all the things you wished you could have done to me last night instead of driving away.”

He pauses with his lips against my pulse point, and they pull into a smile.

“Go on,” he demands.

Oh my God.

I squeeze my eyes closed as the pure filth that came from his lips comes back to me.

“You said… you said you wanted to eat me until I screamed your name.”

A deep growl rumbles in his chest as he kisses down my neck.

“Keep going.”

His hands move and he unties my apron before pulling it over my head and discarding it somewhere behind him.

Finally, he pulls back, his dark and dangerous eyes finding mine.

The best kind of pain shoots down my spine when he drags my band from my hair and twists his fingers in the lengths, angling me exactly as he wants me.

Releasing me, he twists around, searching for something.

He finds what he’s looking for and slams his hand down on the light switches, plunging us into darkness—or as dark as it’s going to get with the emergency lighting above us.

“Better?” My eyes still remain on the empty street outside as my stomach twists with nervous excitement.

Toby was right last night when he told me I liked the risk of being caught, being watched.

His fingers grasp my chin and he turns my head back so I have no choice but to look him in the eyes.

“The only people who watch will be jealous as fuck. They’ll be out there, wishing they were lucky enough to be standing where I am, tasting what I am.”
