Story: Read the Room
“Sis, I love you, but ya mama is dying today. I promise that you can lean on my shoulder to cry.”
Mixed emotions displayed on my baby’s face in rapid fire. After a deep breath, she said, “I can’t cry over someone who never loved me.”
Based on the conversation from the thread, they had no idea that Alexi would come in here and tell on their asses. I could guarantee that she didn’t come in here because she cared about Mama Bee. It was no secret that neither of them liked each other.
Sully finally broke his silence. “You’re coming with us, bitch. Like my boy said, you’re on our to be dead list. Might as well dead all you fuckas at the same time.”
Her head knocked side to side. “No, please don’t do this. Lo, I love you.”
“Bitch, fuck you. When we broke up, and I flew my ass over that water, you should have read the room and left me the fuck alone. You should have read the fuckin’ room when you walked in here, but you chose not to.
You had another opportunity to read it when my wife chin checked you.
Now, illiteracy will be the cause of your death. ”
Sully took his burner out to get at Joey and Ethan, so that our team could mobilize with Seneca’s team. By sunrise, everyone involved in this shit would be dead. It was time to get our boys.
Five Hours Before Sunrise…
The girls stayed in the hospital with Mama Bee like they said they would. We were on track to have our boys back by sunrise. Failure was not an option for Sully and me.
The teams met at one of Seneca’s meeting houses.
Alexi was right there tied the fuck up crying like a bitch.
Her ass should have run out of tears because of how much she cried.
Blake went across her face a number of times to encourage her to shut the hell up.
Blake made me realize what the advantage was to have a female on the team.
I didn’t like putting my hands on bitches, but I’d put a bullet in their head if the situation called for it.
Killing a bitch and hitting a bitch were two different things.
From the surveillance that we did on the trap house that they held our boys in, there was only four niggas there.
They had our fuckin’ sons in a trap house.
That fact alone told me there would be no mercy for anyone involved.
Seneca and my team had already laid down bodies from Jeremy’s team, so by now, they should have known we were coming.
That was why we were about to move before Jeremy’s bitch ass got antsy.
We didn’t need his slippery ass dippin’ on our ass again.
Jeremy wasn’t at the trap. He was at another location that Alexi told us about.
We surveilled that location too. There, it was Jeremy, Logan, another nigga, and Lakeisha.
Here was the shit that threw me; Lakeisha was the only female in the house that they were in, and I thought that was odd.
Once I found out that she was in there fucking and sucking, I understood why.
I thanked God that the ho gene that Lakeisha had didn’t pass on to Tsireya.
“This plan cool?” Stitch asked after he went over the plan to get our babies back. “Those niggas in there getting geeked up. This shit is almost insulting that they thought they could do this. I feel like they want to die.”
The plan was to get the boys out first. They had them locked in the back bedroom.
Blake said that it would be nothing to pop the window and have them come through there.
Once they were out, Ethan would take them directly to the hospital to their mothers and to be checked.
After that, it was killing season. Sully and I dipped our heads with our approval of the plan.
“Yeah. This shit works,” I told him. “We ready to move?”
With a devious smirk and evil intentions, Stitch rubbed his hands together. “Let’s get y’all boys, fuck shit up, then leave.”
That was all we needed to hear.
These ho ass bitches wasted our time. It took less than ten minutes to get our boys out of the back room.
Both of them were asleep on a dirty ass mattress, which infuriated me.
It was clear that the room was used by shoot-up junkies because there were needles and shit littered on the floor.
When the team got into the room, SJ was asleep behind Jedi with his arm wrapped around him.
Sully had taught SJ about things that most parents wouldn’t teach their kids about at their age.
He felt like the younger his son knew about the dangers of the streets, the better chance he had to survive in the happenstance that some crazy shit popped off.
SJ knew what needles and drugs looked like and not to touch them.
When they brought the boys to the truck, Sully and I checked over them before we sent them with Ethan. Our boys loved Ethan and referred to him as their big brother. If anyone messed with SJ or Jedi, including their parents, they would go tell Ethan like he could beat our ass.
After the boys were gone, it was time for action.
A part of the plan was that all of our teams stayed masked up, except for me and Sully.
Stitch and Blake opted not to mask up either.
When we busted in the house, it took less than ten minutes to blow heads and the roof off the house.
Yeah, we burned that shit down. It was one of Jeremy’s new houses because we burned all his others down a while ago.
Next, we were on our way to the other house.
We sent men in to secure those ho ass niggas and the ho.
Alexi’s ass was in the back of the truck tied up and gagged.
The house was in Gastonia, North Carolina, which was on the outskirts of Charlotte.
It provided them with some country woods to play around with.
Jeremy wanted to run with the big boys but was a fucking toddler.
It was Emmitt’s job to come in and steal our shit to get him on his feet.
Joey saw through that shit when Sully and I didn’t.
No one noticed for that matter. Another indicator that Jeremy was a baby in this shit was that, while he and his bitches were in the house, he had no one guarding the parameter.
This man had my kids fucking snatched. Did he not think he started a war?
“Let’s go, silly bitch.” I snatched Alexi’s ass out of the truck. Her ass was moving around in an attempt to break free from the hold that I had on her arm. “Bitch, I promise you that I will twist the fuck out of your nipple if you don’t keep the fuck still.”
She whimpered, but she stopped moving. When we walked into the rundown house that had seen better days, Logan, Jeremy, the other nigga, and Lakeisha were tied up.
The men were beat the fuck up, but Lakeisha looked untouched.
Blake pulled the chair that was in the living room and sat it next to Lakeisha.
She sat Alexi in the chair and ungagged her.
“Hello, hos and bitches. How are y’all doing on this night of Armageddon?”
None of them were gagged at this point.
“Lo! Lo! You can’t do this. Tsireya will never forgive you for killing her mother.” Lakeisha couldn’t be serious. There was no way she was serious.
Sully laughed. “Bitch, is that what your brain told you to say to try to save your life? Please tell me that wasn’t it.”
“Wait! Is this your mother-in-law? That shit is crazy as hell.” Blake’s head ping ponged between me and Lakeisha. “You know what, love? You might be right. Reya may feel a way about her husband killing her mama,” Blake pointed out. “That shouldn’t be put on him.” She lifted her gun. Pow! Head shot.
“Damn, Blake,” Sully said with a titter.
She looked at him then shrugged her shoulders. “What? Y’all said that y’all didn’t want to be here all morning. I’m trying to expedite this process.” She reached over and smacked Alexi, who was yelling, with the butt of her gun. “Ho, shut the fuck up. Your ass is next.”
“Lo, please. You can’t do this. I was the one who told you where they were,” Alexi pleaded. “Lo, I know I did a fucked up thing, but I love you.”
Jeremy looked over Logan and the other dude to look at Alexi. “Ho, you sold us out. Bitch, tell that nigga that you were on my dick when you were with him. Tell him that you were giving me his money to fund my little operation.”
My jaw clenched as my head swiveled slowly to Sully. His mouth hung open with the same shock that I felt. The cheating on me meant nothing at this point. Her taking my money for the opps was a different story.
“He’s lying! I would never do that. Yes, I fucked off, but I would never do no shit like that.” Alexi’s face was bright red and fucked up. “Lo, please. I’m pregnant. Please don’t kill my baby.”
Blake burst into laughter. “Sweetheart, you said that like the baby was his. Maybe he gives a fuck, but I don’t.”
She glared at me with an arched brow. After I gave her my blessing, she lifted her gun. Pow!
“I know you don’t like fucking with women, so take those kills as wedding gifts.” She walked over to me and patted my back. “Congratulations. Oh, let me know when y’all get pregnant. I have the perfect car seat-stroller combination to get you guys. You know that’s what I do.”
That was that shit right there. Blake or Blakeney, as her clients call her, was a Tiny Tots Curator.
Her ass just killed the fuck out of this pregnant girl, but her day job was to buy baby shit for expecting and new parents.
She was a completely different person when she was in her clients’ faces than she was right now—a monster with a heart. Her name needed to be Sully too, shit.
“Thank you for that, Blake.” I turned my attention to the three men left. “I commend you gentlemen for not begging for your life. Logan, let me do this for my wife.”
Pow!
His screams invigorated my soul. Sully and Stitch grabbed the front middle of their jeans.
“Fuck, man! Give a warning that you’re about to shoot a man in his dick,” Stitch fussed.
“Yeah, yeah! I’m ready to get to my wife. Sully, it’s three of them, so you want to do a one, one, two?” I asked him since he had his piece out ready to put in work.
He looked at the three men. “Yeah, that works. You can have Logan. I got bitch ass Jeremy, and the nigga in the middle whose name isn’t even important enough to ask, we’ll both take.”
Our heads nodded toward each other. We lifted our guns, and four head shots ended the mayhem. This house would be burned down as well. The cleaning crew would come through to do a little bit of magic with these kills first before the flames rolled.
There was so much to learn from this experience that put my family in danger.
Never again would I take anything lightly when it came to my safety and the safety of those around me.
I gave Jeremy way too much rope to be able to do the shit that he did.
He should have been dead during week one of this ordeal. That mistake will never happen again.
A part of me knew that everything that happened in life happened the way it did for a reason.
The reason could have been for me to have the time I needed with my baby and son to find my true love.
That was cool and all, but God could have found a way that didn’t make my ass have to send people to the judgment table.
The biggest lesson in all of this was my room.
Reading your room was cool. When you were in your room, there could be something missing, something that just wasn’t reading correctly.
It could be a word, sentence, a thought, a person missing that made the room incomplete.
When I read my room, it was love. My room was missing love.
Because of a series of unfortunate events, I was forced to add something to my room that completed every sentence and thought.
Tsireya Jordan was the addition to turn it into my peaceful palace.
Lucas Jedidiah Jordan was the right additional touch that completed the atmosphere.
My room would forever be grateful for the additions, and my heart would forever be full.
