When you want something, you usually look like this: BattingLashes.GIF
Cordelia • 08:45pm
I don’t do that.
Defne • 08:46am
You do but it’s ok ?? it’s cute!
A knockon my bedroom door stopped me from replying to Defne.
“Breakfast!” Victor announced from the other side, then opened the door before I even had the chance to respond. Probably specifically so I didn’t get the chance to avoid him.
“Hi,” I mumbled, first time using my voice since he left my room three and a half hours ago.
He was fully dressed and his face already looked much better with the cuts closing and the swelling around his eye turning into a plain black bruise. Balancing the breakfast tray on one hand, he made quick work of collecting the glasses and cups off my nightstand to clear a space for it.
“You didn’t have to bring me breakfast,” I said, “I wasn’t going to hide from you.”
“I’m checking in.”
“Do you want to sit?” I moved my legs aside to give him some space, startling Fitzi awake. The cat blinked at me through tired eyes, then spotted Victor and let out a vicious hiss.
Victor ignored him and smirked at me. “Are you inviting me into your bed, Miss Montgomery? That’s very inappropriate.”
I rolled my eyes. “I had your dick down my throat a few hours ago. I think we’re past the point of propriety.”
“My what?”
“Your-” My lips snapped shut before I could repeat the word. “I hate you.”
“Here.” He handed me the porcelain cup of tea from the tray before actually sitting down on the edge of the bed, right next to my knees. My mattress dipped under his weight, and my stomach tumbled enough for me to lower the tea cup again. Fitzwilliam jumped, claws-first, for Victor’s wrist, but Victor just grabbed hold of him with one hand and dropped him off the bed. Sensing a fight he couldn’t win, Fitzi dashed out the door.
“Do I ever make fluttery eyes at you?” I asked.
“You mean that puppy gaze when you want something?”
