The world is watching as the US and North Korea prepare to meet. (“North Korea may have tested underwater-launched missile ahead of new nuclear talks with US”). I write these words not to the leaders in North Korea or the United States, but to the women in both of these countries.

Mothers know what it takes to bring a life into the world, to grow and raise a child. We must not let fellow humans be disposable. Every person’s life is precious.

Join People Against Violence, formerly Mothers Against Violence. Already in the US we have changed liability and gun control laws. We have turned the right to own a gun into a privilege. We’ve dedicated millions of dollars and hours towards supporting and healing the victims of violence.

Women of North Korea, women of the world, and all who want peace, join our effort. Our contribution is essential, our legacy will be peace. Find out more at PAV.org.
