Eryxxus

The ship groaned beneath me, its metallic hull shuddering, the symbiotic AI of the mainframe finally realizing it could no longer salvage the situation. The sounds of battle and destruction reverberated in the corridors, echoing with every blast of energy I unleashed, every twist of power that twisted space itself.

The ship was dying. And so was the fool who thought he could steal her from me.

Dr. Scil staggered, barely holding on to his own life force. He was crumbling, and I felt no pity for him. His face was drawn tight, his chest rising and falling with labored breaths. He had tried to stop me—tried to play with powers that were far beyond his understanding—and now he would face the consequences.

His hands, glowing weakly with his pathetic light, flickered as he tried to summon strength. But it wasn’t enough. The ship’s corridors were littered with the bodies of the crew, those who had fallen before us, lost to the fury we had unleashed.

I could feel his eyes on me, burning with fury and desperation. But I was done with his struggle. The battle between us had dragged on long enough—a simple stretch of my muscles as I finally embraced my true being in its entirety.

“You still think you can stop me? This ship and everyone in it will burn,” I growled, stepping forward, my claws scraping against the floor, sending sparks everywhere. The ship shuddered again, groaning under the force of our dueling power, and I could sense the very foundations of the vessel collapsing as the life of the symbiotic AI glitched. It was only a matter of time before everything was consumed in the wreckage.

But not before I had what I came for.

The ship’s lights flickered, bathing us in an eerie glow as I raised my hand. Tendrils of darkness whipped through the air, crashing into the walls, and I reveled in the destruction. Dr. Scil was still trying to form some last, futile defense, his light flickering weakly against my darkness.

He lifted his arms and sent out a black, the trajectory thrown off as the ship finally crashed onto the planet’s surface.

“She will never be yours,” he spat, his voice hoarse. He knew he was dying, and yet he still had the audacity to try. She had turned everything upside down, the being who had dragged me from the prison of madness into this chaos.

I kneeled down toward his kneeled form, half of his tail cut off from some of the wall’s debris as it flew during our battle. Beneath him was a growing pool of blood, making my mouth water.

“ She belongs to me. ” The words tasted sweet on my tongue. She was the key to everything. She was the one who would unravel the universe with her power—and I would be there, at the center of it all.

Dr. Scil’s power finally sputtered out, fading into nothingness as the ship around us fell apart. The walls fractured, the floor buckled, and the ship’s systems began to scream in protest, the seams finally collapsing under the weight of our destructive forces.

I stood over him, watching with satisfaction as his body faltered. His connection to her was weakening.

I could finish him with a single blow, but there was something more pressing now. Her voice.

It echoed through the ship, pulling at me like an irresistible force, cutting through the madness, through the chaos. Her song.

I tore my eyes from the doctor, feeling the pull of her presence, strong and intoxicating. She was near, somewhere in the depths of the ship. I had to find her. Now.

Before he could speak again, I struck. A blast of dark energy tore through the air, slamming into him with a sound that would have shattered anyone’s spirit. His body was thrown back, crumpling like a ragdoll against the wall.

He was done.

I turned, not even sparing him another glance, and began moving toward her. My senses were alive with her song, her presence, pulling me closer. I was so close—so close to having her.

The walls of the ship were falling apart. I could hear the screams of the remaining crew as they were thrown into the void of space, their lives extinguished by the ship’s destruction.

But none of that mattered. I had what I needed. I was going to take her.

Moving down the destroyed halls, my senses reached out to each room. When I came upon her location, my cock stirred. Her presence filled the air with an energy so pure, so dangerous, it made the hairs on my neck stand on end, and my hunger grow. As I stepped inside, I saw her form sitting there, her eyes closed, her song still floating through the air, a haunting melody that seemed to shake the very stars.

Her beauty was overwhelming. Her power. Her light. It was almost too much to bear.

She didn’t look at me at first. She just sat there, as if waiting. As if knowing what was about to happen.

“You came,” she whispered, her voice as soft as starlight, yet as deadly as a black hole.

She knew. She knew the doctor would never survive and yet, she did what she did anyway.

“I always come for what’s mine,” I said, my voice low and full of dark promise.

She turned to look at me then, her eyes locking onto mine, and for a moment, time stood still. Her gaze pierced through me like a comet crashing into a planet, shaking everything within me to its core.

I could feel her true power now, her light—she was so much more than I had ever imagined. The sheer force of it was intoxicating, and it made every fiber of my being ache for her.

I took a step forward, reaching for her, fascinated by how small she seemed within my grasp.

She didn’t pull away. But she didn’t move toward me either. She waited patiently.

Her lips parted, and for a fleeting moment, I thought she was going to speak again. But then... the ground beneath us cracked.

The ship’s hull was giving way.

The ship’s destruction was no longer just a distant threat—it was imminent.

And in that moment, I realized something else. She wasn’t just waiting for me. She was waiting for this.

Her power surged around us, filling the air with an electric charge, as though she were preparing herself for what was about to happen.

And I... I was ready to take it all.

I turned her toward me and she didn’t stop me. Running my hand down her arms, our fingers brushed, and it felt as if the universe itself moved in response.

The ship’s final scream echoed around us as everything around us imploded.

Pulling her against me, I commanded the tendrils of shadows to wrap around us and solidify into a barrier, shielding us from the flames.

This close, she smelled like the vast universe—of both the void of my prison as well as the freshness of hope. Shortening my maw, I gripped her chin and kissed her, reveling in the way her dainty little hands clutched the front of me.

As our tongues dueled for dominance, her fingers trailed her nails against the cords of my neck, making me shiver. I ran my hand down the small of her back, pressing her against the evidence of her torment and she gasped deliciously.

Trailing my lips along the line of her jaw, the roar of the flames outside of our protective shell grew louder.

“Eryxxus…”

Startled at her use of my name, I jerked my head back and stared into her starry eyes. They were hooded and filled with lust, her scent inside our shell growing stronger, making my fangs itch to pierce her skin.

Would her essence taste as delicious as her mouth? How would her power intertwine with my own, I wondered.

When she slipped her hand between my legs and gripped my cock firmly, I groaned with desperation. The protective barrier trembled in reaction to my emotions, pulsing once, twice, until it exploded outward, dropping us in the middle of the remnants of the destroyed ship.
