The moon rose high in the sky above, and still Dorin lay tangled up in Neamhaí's dragon form.

She stared up at the stars above, wondering now what it was she really wanted.

She hadn't really let herself have a life here, hoping that someday she would return to her place in the sky. Now that Neamhaí was with her, she wondered what a life with them might look like here in Domhan na Rùin.

"Neamhaí?" she asked.

"Yes, goddess?"

"Can you… take me home?" She hadn't actually asked before; she had just assumed it would be impossible, a feat only a fellow god could achieve.

"Of course I could, now that I know I have my original form still."

Dorin's heart stopped. She could go home? Now?

"Is that what you wish?"

"I…" Dorin began, unsure of what to say.

"Can you come back here to Domhan na Rùin whenever you please?" She had a thread of an idea, and she wanted to know, to pull on it.

"I believe so. What my elder did, it changed me, and from what I understand I may now come and go as I please."

Tears gathered in Dorin's eyes. She knew what she wanted.

"Let's go then, together. Out into the stars, just for a while. And then…" she paused, searching Neamhaí's gaze. "And then, maybe we could come back here? Together? And see what all a mortal life has to offer?"

A tear escaped Neamhaí's eye as she spoke, and she let hers fall freely.

"I would love nothing more, my Dorinavasya."
